Why does Ukraine🇷🇼 still use the Russian 🇷🇺script? Does Ukraine think that it can communicate with the other EU 🇪🇺countries using the same script that the Russians 🇷🇺have? What is stopping them from giving up the Russian letters?

That is not Russian script, that is Cyrillic. The script is shared with a number of Slavic languages, and it not more Russian than Latin script is English.

during the afghan war, the new soldiers would go to afgahanistan with no weapons. the seargant of arms was supposed to provide them with new ak. however, they typically sold/exchanged ak with the mujahedeens, and give the new soldiers old ak, sometimes bent barrels. a pair of jeans was exchanged for a brand new ak. or morfin. i see no reason why the ukrainians cant do the same. trade goodies with the russian sergeants. just make sure they do not give you korean shells.

What will turn Russian sentiment, if it can be turned, is what the Russians who survive Avdiivka will have to say about what happened to other Russian soldiers sent there. I don't want to gross anyone out so don't read this if you are faint of heart. Dead Russians piled up in trying to take Avdiivka and unfortunately Ukraine has wild boars and they number perhaps as high as 60K (2011 count) or more due to a good supply of meat, because at this point no one wants to hunt them or worse yet eat them. You have starving Russians in trenches watching as wild boars eat their comrades and they'd rather die of starvation than eat a wild boar that was fattened on Russian dead. It is truly sick, but that is what the UA forces in Avdiivka witnessed first hand. It is also something that was hinted at in other long held battle sites where Russian bodies were just abandoned under orders of the commanders.

The biggest problem with Ukraine is not getting them weapons and ammo. While that is not good, other European countries are trying to make up the shortfall.
What is worse is that Kiev does NOT want to induce young people to join the army. But they need to start training 30 thousand men from 20-25 years old NOW and another 30 thousand in four months so that they can refresh the front line veterans that have been in the war some since before the 2022 invasion.
The Ukrainian people need to support this war with food and personnel or they need to start to learn Russian. They all like being protected by the US and NATO and their Hardline Azov Battalion fighters. But a lot of the Central and Western Ukrainians are trying to lie low and maybe miss this war entirely.
Problem is you will run out of competent troops in 8 months from battle fatigue and injuries and deaths.
The West can send them supplies. Somebody there needs to learn how to operate the Drones, and how to fire the cannons and how to fix tanks and other vehicles.
