- With this video, we want to show the life cycle of Russian unexploded ordnance in Ukraine. The soldiers of the Achilles Battalion have set up professional production of FPV drones and ammunition for them, and are successfully sending Russian shells back to where they belong.

These drones have been a theme in the war ever since 2014. But back then, I never expected this to transform into major warfare methodology. Like, mass production of 100s of thousands of units. They are indeed cheeper than western 155 mm artillery shells.

In 2014 I remember watching a Ukrainian workshop operated by drone enthusiasts working out all the ways to fixup drones for military use. They were doing the best they could with cheap components and there were some Americans "observers" who brought good equipment and supplies, they were taking notes and learning from the Ukraine drone enthusiasts.
Ukraine has come a long way and smart use of everything they could get their hands on, they were preparing for what they knew would come one day.

I love Ukraine's engenuity. My dad was very much like this. Living out on a cattle ranch in Montana, there wasn't such a thing as a quick trip to the store. I think it must be a rancher/farmer thing.😊

The AT4 grenades is manufactured in Sweden by SAAB so if the shells work it would be easyer to get them direct from the production instead of disassembling them in Ukraine. Slava Ukraini!
Not really, most of the stuff sent to Ukraine is old and from storage, produced a long time ago. The newly produced stuff is then used to replace it within the donor countries.

@@B.D.E.not to mention a lot of the ammo they're using for this purpose was marked for disposal because it's past it's safe shelf life. These are all rounds that can't be fired any other way, or can't safely be fired from their intended weapon system. I'm incredibly impressed that Ukraine has managed to handle so much of this sketchy ordinance and no major accidents.
