This quote reminds me of every show I watched as a kid. They all ended eventually, but they still shaped who I am today.
Shows can be a big part of people's lives, they can shape your world, embrace your imagination, and get you through the hard parts of life. Shows are more than just shows they are a part of our lives and memories and like everything they eventually end so you just have to enjoy and learn from them while you can then when they end embrace the memories and they will always be a part of you .
Yes and whenever I reach watch those shows it brings me back. And it makes me sad that my fav show Steven Univers just ended

As someone on the autism spectrum, this song is a pretty good way of describing how the media I've hyper-fixated on has effected my life in various, deep ways. I've never watched the office, but the idea of a piece of media being a major comfort&influence on a life, particularly in hard times, is one I can highly relate to.
I'm the same way. Gravity Falls is almost 10 years old, but I've still had it as a special interest all these 10 years. It really did end up shaping me, and helping me through my major bouts of depression throughout middle and high school. It helped me find people I've been mutual with for a long time, and I'd say, without it, I'd be a very different person. The show means a whole lot to me, so I kinda wanna commemorate it this June (as June is when the shoe premiered.)

I’m deadass crying. I relate to this so much. I started watching the office on netflix when I was 11 and just diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder and watched the office to cope. Seven years later and I still come back to the office almost every day, especially when I’m down. This hits so close to home. Don’t you tell me it’s just a show.

That no matter how many obstacles come your way, whether it’s another 364 days till pretzel day, a co-worker firing a gun in the office, or being in love with someone who doesn’t see you the same way, you know that it gets better because you are going to get hitched at Niagara Falls, and that’s what makes The Office unique. The Office has been such an incredibly big part of my life. I am 14 now and I remember watching it when I was two years old. I watched the Office the first night I slept in my own bed, but still in my parents room. I watched it when I moved out of Pennsylvania to Virginia, when I moved from Virginia to Maryland, Maryland to Kentucky, back to Virginia, and I watched it when I moved away from everything I knew and loved to Colorado. My family watched the Office to keep ourselves from crying from exhaustion after my baby brother was born, and I watched the Office to feel better after I was rejected. We watched the Office to celebrate my mom and I moving back in with my dad after he finally got himself sober, and I watched the night before high school started to stop stressing out.

This song really captures how I feel about most TV shows, especially The Office. As you watch it over the course of your life, you grow a sentimental bond with it. It becomes a part of the way you act, the way you feel. AJR has a special talent to capture emotions in their beautiful music.

I thought this song was going to be about how our lives are controlled by TV or something, instead it turned out to be a tribute to The Office and how we use fiction to cope with life and I'm so happy. I've only just recently discovered The Office, but it's now one of my favourite shows. I know that secondary school would have been much much worse for me without it and shows like Stargate SG1, Doctor Who and Agents of Shield. My parents think I'm kinda ridiculous to be so invested in something that's not real, but without other worlds to get lost in I would have struggled with anxiety etc even more than I did and still do.

Recently my grandmother passed away of Alzheimer’s. I hardly spoke and watched my mother cry. I was going through stages of anxiety. Everyone tried helping my mom and I but nothing helped. Then I found this song. This song got me through super tough times and since I was a huge office fan I understood everything going on. Thank you AJR for producing this wonderful song.

My cousin passed away a few months ago. In the days after my family learned of his sudden and unexpected death, all we did was watch The Office. We didn't know what else to do. We were confused, in shock, and grieving more than any of us ever had before. This song just embodies to me how we used it to make it through dark days. It's the dumbest, most cliche sounding thing in the world but the show means more to me than words can really say

When I heard the name Jim, I knew this song would be amazing.
this show, star vs the forces of evil, actually shaped and changed my life. i started watching it when i was 8 years old and ended right before i turned 13. through those years, i was bullied for liking the show and cartoons, in general, and i still am. but in the end, i’ve moved onto other cartoons and shows and embraced what i loved. then 2 years later, i started editing cartoons, finding a hobby i love (that could lead to a future career) and people who had the same interests as me. i had found this audio from a steven universe edit on instagram, which is also another show that i love that is also ending. so coming back here after star vs the forces of evil ended brought tears to my eyes.

This is my favorite song on the album.... relating life to seasons and series. Funny because that's how we remember episodes and songs. By the things we are going through when we are listening to or watching them.

The thing is, the office doesn’t just feel like a classic show. It feels like a lifestyle. The classic sitcom “laughs” aren’t there, making it truly arbitrary, as Creed would say. It doesn’t just feel like a show, It feels like as if each character is real. Jim’s love for Pam, Dwight’s infatuation with becoming manager, Michael’s desperate attempt to find and be loved. These little quirks that built the characters, they exist within ourselves. It gives us something to look for in life. That no matter how many obstacles come your way, whether it’s another 364 days till pretzel day, a co-worker firing a gun in the office, or being in love with someone who doesn’t see you the same way, you know that it gets better because you are going to get hitched at Niagara Falls, and that’s what makes The Office unique. Being just a show, its part of us. Its who we are. Its inside us. And that’s what she said.

They watched Netflix to cope with the modern day hardships. It starts in Middle school, where he had his first crush. She then moved away, and he was hit hard and started coping with The Office. It then states how he turned down Jameson, and then promptly graduated from 8th grade.
When they reached season 6, their grandfather passed and it was devastating for the whole family. 'Who are we to wonder where we're going' is a statement about how you shouldn't always try to force yourself to wonder about what you could change in the life you had. 'Who am I to tell me who I am' refers to the fact that you should never force yourself to become one thing without the influence of life's push.

This song makes me emotional. It reminds you just how much the little things matter on a greater perspective of life. Sometimes, it makes me ask myself, is all this living really worth dying for? Does our little marks, really make the difference we are searching for? But the big question I've never been able to answer, does the world really care... Because growing up, we don't realize just how fast it really goes. And for me, it goes so fast my questions about how to live keep piling up.

This song actually hits me hard. I watched The Office with my dad, it was some of my best memories with him. After every long day, I could look forward to sitting on the couch with him and watch a show without having to worry about what would happen next, him holding me close. He also was the one to introduce me to AJR. Hearing this song reminds me of all those nights. He's gone now, but I still like watching the show or listening to the bands he played. This song makes me smile and want to cry at the same time. Thanks.
