  • Tuidi is the Okinawan version of Aikijujutsu, or in Chinese, Chin Na.
While there are many similiarities, there are subtle differences in each expression of the art. But ultimately, the human body only bends certain ways when functioning correctly, and manipulating the joints outside of their proper motion can cause pain, dislocation, or breaking.
Seidokan has no set universal heirarchical curriculum, generally, for teaching these techniques, so in what order they are presented and individual variances exist. But they exist in the kata as well as independently. Once a basic movement is learned, then techniques are sequenced together in flow drills or defensive sequences.
