@@justinrothmusic The album version on Spotify has got quite a bit more going on, hasn't it?... I mean totally understandable as Jacob I think was just getting used to this new 10-string he had just been gifted like a couple weeks back in California before you saw him live...
@@EstebanTalero99 Yes it does. He has only had the 10 string for a couple weeks AND HE'S PLAYING WITH A PICK! I think that the 10 string is forcing him too because it's harder for him to fingerpick, so there's lots of new stuff happening at once. He's been learning to use a pick on his new mandocello as well, which also has doubled strings. Eventually I'll do a full tutorial on the album version since that is the one most people know.
Tremendous tutorial, keep it up. God keep blessing you. Could you do a tutorial of that pentatonic lick/arpegee that Jacob Collier does at 1:22 min? Greetings! 🙋🏽♂️
Thank you! I am planning to do a tutorial on Jacob‘s basic approach for all of his left hand hammer and pull off licks. I’ll see about using that one as an example. Thanks for tuning in!
In the song Here comes the sun by Jacob Collier feat Dodie there are good guitar lines, and he does those pentatonic licks/arpegeois with hammer on. A tutorial on that cover and those licks would be good. Greetings and God bless you! @@justinrothmusic
Joel! Inspired by you, I've shared the tab (and quick study) of that exact fill on my Patreon here: www.patreon.com/posts/guitar-fill-tab-107336999?Link&
What Jacob song should I teach next? In standard tuning or his altered tuning? Find more Jacob guitar transcriptions at justinroth.com/store
Awesome, thank you for this!
You’re welcome! I plan to do a more in depth tutorial and transcription on the album version, but wanted to share this asap. 👍
