Like infinite were known as synchronization kings for 2nd gen and seventeen for 3rd gen, verivery have been trying to claim this title for the 4th gen since their debut. And imo, they have definitely deserved to be mentioned besides those other 2 amazing groups as the most synchronised group in dancing.
Man, I became a stan and then ulted VERIVERY all within the week after their 'O' comeback. 😂 Honestly, I'd been very casually listening to them since their Tag Tag Tag comeback and had even heard about them on Road to Kingdom, but it wasn't until O that things drastically changed for me. I love a majority of their music, especially their older stuff, which sounds quite different from their latest album. Undercover isn't really my jam but I'll listen to it if it comes on-- the mv and choreo are amazing though. That's one of the reasons they've become an ult so quickly is because of their choreos but in general, I just really love the group.
Thank you so much for reacting to VERIVERY! They have a wide variety of genres in their discography, and they have plenty of ballad tracks or nice melody based songs that showcase their vocals. Their latest album WHOLE consists of a good mix, with some songs being self composed so it would be good if you could check it out. Undercover was the titletrack, and O was included in the album too but the whole thing is definitely worth a listen. Their songs Thunder and Get Away also show off more of their vocals
Verivery are my favorite group since Get Away. They are the 4th gen BG group for 100000% synchronized choreography. Only Seventeen [who they look up to for their dance] are more synchronized than them.
**For Dancer reactions, I suggest Connect**. It's a B-side from one of the Face Series mini albums. The choreo has a lot of fast/slow changes, they play with levels, and the song has a hard beat. But for Verivery, you honestly can't go wrong with any choreo, it's just about what kind of music you like. They don't really stick to any one genre for their songs/albums. They started with a New Jack Swing sort of sound and it's been going towards trap and R&B. Undercover is actually one of the few title tracks I think really sounds like the 4th gen bg sound [loud and bombastic] most prevalent right now, GBTB being the other.
**For vocals, if you want a title track, I suggest Lay Back, Get Away, or Trigger.** Lay back is the most like O, but not so heavy on R&B. Trigger sounds like no other sound I can remember last year [until the chorus]. It is very unique and the bridge was one of my favorites last year. BUT if you want B-Sides that will convert you:
**Candle, Moment**: Both off the latest album. They hit the slow jam and groove sound with harmonies.
**Hold Me Tight, My Face**: From the Face Us album, they both also have a live stage with the dance, but no dance practice. My Face is one of my favorite B-Sides.
The guy you pointed out is Gyehyeon, lead vocalist, but he is a really popular member and he gets a lot of center time. He was the first person I noticed because I think he has the best stage presence in the group for non-fans. I think he should be part of the dance line because he has excellent body awareness and is the one with the most sports background out of them all. The other one you pointed out was Hoyoung, he's one of the main dancers.
My Face is my favorite song of theirs! I really wish it had been a title track. I always get excited when someone else pays it recognition, cuz it seems like no one ever talks about it. Great review, btw. I didn’t even know about the live stages for those songs, so I’m glad I read this. 😀
@@barrymoreblue My Face is definitely in my top 5! I have a hard time choosing a single favorite lol. No one really seems to talk about Verivery at all, which makes me sad, but I'm glad you've discovered the live stages now! I only remember the one for Hold Me tight, but My Fave has.... either 2 or 3.
I've noticed that you've picked out Gyehyeon twice (started both songs). He's a lead vocalist but I personally believe he should also have a lead dancer position. I've seen multiple dancers pick him out specifically and I've noticed that he's sometimes placed somewhere at the front even when he's not singing. He definitely has the lead dancer abilities, jellyfish ent just needs to finally give him that position

Because Verivery is very much about being in sync, it can get difficult to pick out who the lead dancers of the group are but it just shows that they can really work together as a team and dance as best as they can, which is what i really like about Verivery's performances. If you liked 'O', i fell like you would like another of their titles called 'Lay back'. Like you said about the mirroring in Undercover, it's a part of their concept and i like that they incorporate that in their dances, which you can see again in 'Layback'. Their B-sides, however, have all you need to hear when it comes to vocals.
i also think you could check out Gyehyeon's (the lead vocalist) cover of Bambi by Baekhyun. Baekhyun is a vocal genius and i think Gyehyeon did a great job covering this vocally challenging song. I think it really shows how much potential Gyehyeon has !
You should watch their other songs "Thunder", "G.B.T.B" and "Get away". They are amazing songs with incredible dancing that you would enjoy

Personal opinion that Thunder is their most impressive dance practice to watch. They’re so quick and in sync!
I say this all the time, but they are the kings of choreo. They play with different styles a lot, so you can’t judge their scope based on Undercover (I’m sad you didn’t enjoy it). If you want to hear some amazing harmonies, check out Thunder, although I think every song has amazing harmonies. They have a long lore through their music videos, so you should definitely go back as far as Tag Tag Tag. Every single dance practice will also blow your mind. These boys are my first loves and I got to see them live back in December. Amazing! Please continue your Verivery journey.
GBTB is what did it for me y’all (granted it was the first mv i watched- but still) like to this day i can’t stop watching the dance practice, Get Away, Thunder, Lay Back, Tag Tag Tag are all amazing too. Verivery is in my Top 5 favorite groups, they have amazing visuals, dance practices, vocals, and their B-Sides are amazing too. Sorry for the rant but like Verivery gets like no attention so i get so hyped when i see reaction channels react to them.
edit: i just realized when you said you got goosebumps and really liked the two on the right- those are my biases and i love them for that exact reason, they’re definitely so in sync with their bodies and definitely know how to buss down lmao

I watched "O" when it dropped in March and became very curious. Undercover has definitely grown on me, especially with the lyrics. Other songs are "Photo" "Lay Back" "Gravity" "With Us".
I am so happy you were able to react to them. Their dance practices make me so happy and I could watch them forever. I agree with everyone in the comments, “Get Away” and “Thunder” are great ones to check out too. They are two of my favorite choreographies.

sooo glad to see you reacting to them!!! considering verivery is, and i'm basing this on actual data, the most synchronised 4th gen group, i feel like their skills are not recognised enough. they caught my eye with their fluid yet somewhow sharp moves!!! even tho i have to admit undercover is not my favourite of theirs, i've been stanning for two years and i couldn't be happier about it, they always deliver!!! you should check out their previous releases lay back or get away, they're soooo good and given that you enjoyed o, i'm sure you'll like them!!

LOL, you chose the one song that is more in line with what other groups are putting out (Undercover) I didn't want that to be your introduction to Verivery cause even I was shook at the change. I still love the song though so I'm not complaining.

The one you pointed out in Undercover is Gyehyeon (who started the song) he's a Main Vocalist sadly he has no dance position the other one you pointed out was Kangmin (when you said i like this one in the middle) he's the Lead Dancer, Sub-Vocalist, Sub-Rapper, Visual, Face Of The Group, and Maknae

For vocals I think you definitely would appreciate Lay Back! Also if you’re checking out groups that you haven’t before, Golden Child is amazing. Ddara was one of the best songs of 2021 for me!
