I love the fact that the people you get to react to KPOP takes it seriously. It might not be the music they listen to but they have enough respect to pay attention and take it seriously.

I appreciate his attention to detail. I enjoy his comments because you can sense his musical intelligence. Also he’s not KPop biased so it helps to hear what those who truly get music but haven’t been bitten by the bug think. Also, I’m one of the odd ones out who loved Sticker on first listen, but I get what he means when he’s critiquing it. He says something like “people won’t expect” or “it’s not enough time for people”. He’s describing that as someone who knows what sounds people are expecting and looking for, it’s not a slight toward NCT. NCT have songs people expect, more than half the bsides are r&b bops, but they’re also committed to having songs that focus on bringing the neo and tech sound to the culture.
Woah i never thought of the sound in the chorus of "sticker" just being a distorted bass 😲 thanks for always bringing these awesome people on the channel 🥰👏🏽 their view and opinions always make me appreciate the songs in a whole new way 🙌
oh man i love this channel for it! all these professionals from different parts of the industry breaking things down and explaining them and it's just AMAZING.
Honestly, SM always has some experimental ass production that rides the line for me between being absolutely ICONIC AND GROUNDBREAKING and TOO MUCH. It really kind of depends on the person as to which song is which.
NGL the distorted bass in the chorus honestly does sound like... when you get glue between something and you try separating it and you think you got it but then it sticks back together and you try separating it again and it will never not throw me x'D it was a good sound for visual image relating to the title.
Yo ive never heard someone use the term of "relevant instrument" before when talking about instrumental transitions in pop songs but that makes so much sense.
Honestly love this channel learn so much on our fave artist plus loving n thirsting sometimes over our fave k pop artists but it's like a deeper dive into our fave songs and learn some aspect we might not have known very informative and everyone comes on here has been cool he's personally one my faves along Merv
This was really interesting. I enjoyed listening to this fellow’s specific observations about the music and production of these two songs. Sticker is kind of weird and that’s cool, but it also throws people off. I agree completely about the mix and the balance in Favorite. The song sounds nice. I also enjoyed the details he pointed out about the imagery in used in the videos in both this analysis and his analysis of Aespa.
11:23 I literally HATE Johnnys part right here. It sounds so awkward 🤮 i feel like they always give Johnny the weird English parts and it needs to stop (except Sit Down, Johnny has the best part)
when you hear a producer in youtube react to kpop music, they look like a badass producer try to criticize the music, but when you check his/her music, it's all the same, it's just a lazy type beat 1 loop for the entire song.
I’m not sure why you’re being negative here. There were loads of positives here. It must suck being such a miserable person. You can watch some positive fake reactions all over RUclips but we like nuance on this channel.
