    Thanks for the tutorial, I found adding a couple floats "default speed" and "chase speed" allowed me to easily change speeds when testing / making different enemy types. I just set the speed when they begin roaming as default and of course set the speed to chase speed when they see the player.
    One thing I am having trouble with is finding a way to help the enemy get un-stuck, as the "fail" trigger when moving around randomly gets triggered when they see the player as they are no longer going to their destination. This means it cannot be used to save a pawn stuck on the side of a ramp or something.

    hi, I really like what you did, it would have been nice if you could have done it properly, for example, attack properly, get hurt and die when attacked, it would have been the best, it would have been nice if you could solve it

    hey i have a question i followed the video correctly everything was working fine but for some reason the ai stop executing the random roam code, if i move in front of ai it still chases me fine but cant get the random roam event to happen he just still in one spot?

    Great tutorial. Everything works fine. I have one question though…is there a way to make enemy lock on to player as it chasing. It tends to “get distracted” sometimes and just stop chasing.

      If you wish for the AI to keep chasing you after detection without letting go of you, you can simply remove the Retriggerable delay.

      Bro change the value in radius second node, it would be set to 0 make it 1000 and it works

      Hi Frank. Make sure your NavMesh volume is working. Try to delete it and add a new one and cover up the map with it. Also remember to press P on the keyboard to see the area it’s covering.

    is there any way to make the enemy rotate smoothly instead of snapping into the direction of the next location on the navmesh?

      Yes, go to your enemy blueprint and press the "Class Defaults" at the top toolbar. Then disable "Use Controller Rotation Yaw". Then, go to the Character Movement Component for the enemy blueprint and scroll down to the rotation settings. Set the Rotation Rate "Z" value to something lower than the default 360 degrees. And then remember to enable "Orient Rotation to Movement" right beneath the rotation rate.

    what about making the enemy call for back up trigering a separate animation for it and a separate animation for retreat if enemy is being hamered down? can you make a video for it?
