I thought for the longest time I imagined this song until I was looking at old wrestling clips. It is exactly how I remembered it when I was a kid. Super cheesy but it fit with what was going on in wrestling at the time. Great memories. 😂
Three thoughts. One, what a happy song. Just upbeat as anything! Two, this totally needs to be brought back for a future WrestleMania. Three, Jimmy Garvin makes a cameo 0:01 into the song.
Mean gene on that hook! You know you used to play this cassette & as each superstar came on did their moves on your friend or little brother. Kicked the shit out my brother, & ironically he's 28 today & 6'6 295. Now I just do a quick hit & run! Just like that...
Okay, mind blown: apparently the longstanding "generic Wrestlemania song" that's also used as Linda McMahon's entrance music is written by the same guys who wrote Never Going to Give You Up.
There is more talent, and star power on this cover then the WWE has now. We have the Undertaker one of the best WWE stars, Jim Duggan a great baby face, the Nasty Boys a great gimick Tag Team the real life Bebop and Rocksteady, Big Boss Man a great big man, and a good face or heel, Randy one of the all time greats, Bret the best there is the best there was, and the best there ever will be, and Tatanka another who could be both heel and face and be great at it.
I find no coincidence that it was meant to be released during Clinton's first year in office. Even its first released single Slam Jam didn't even make it in the UK charts until December 1992, the month after he was elected. Conspiracy theories are too easy to create as to why the wrestling industry greatly expanded its investment in the music industry during his Presidency. There were only two WWF-themed music albums released prior to his Presidency. Between 1993 and 1999 alone, however, the WWF had released five albums.
Never heard of this album. Sounds completely rubbish, but fans will buy any merchandise i guess. Only googled it cause just heard Simon Cowell produced it and made millions from it 🤣😀😆
what saddest thing is.... there will never be something like this at this level ever again.
Yeah I miss good old days when wrestling was great now it 😴😴😴
Agreed
@@sonnytupou6981Toko? How could you say that about The Bloodline 🇼🇸🇦🇸🇹🇴
We runnin it now
Look up west side Gunn
I like how the album is titled "Wrestlemania: The Album" and the first thing you hear is someone asking if we're ready for Survivor Series lol
WHO WILL SURVIVE
Just like that just like that
Hard to believe that iconic first line, came from a throwaway line on an audition tape (for Jimmy Jam Garvin), that was nearly forgotten.
40yo me in 2024 checking in... was listening to this as a kid all the time, I think my Dad still has the CD in his collection ^^
Nostalgia. An 84 kid. Grew up with this album. Nothing better as a kid.
Woooooo
Perfect time to be a fan, you grew up with hulk and the warrior and then matured as it got more edgy with the attitude era.
It's impossible to not smile the whole way through this album. Bad boy cassette tape. The world will never be as wholesome as it was back then. 10/10
Between this and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' "Coming Out of Our Shells" album. Good times, indeed!
This is still the best time in wrestling and im glad to have been apart of it.
I will fight this till I day! Truly the golden age of wrestling!
This cassette was worn out in my tape player. I brought it with me everywhere. Great time to be a kid and love wrestling. ❤

The world we grew up in no longer exists.
