I owned a 2004 Silverado with a Duramax . It honestly was not a bad truck. However when I used it the way I needed to use a truck it didn't meet my requirements. It was also due for the injectors and the top end work and I did not have the money to repair that. You should find out if that is an LBZ or an LBY Duramax. I think what I miss most about that truck was the Allison Transmission. If I were you I would keep the Duramax and get rid of the gaser as you'll do better towing with the diesel than you will the gaser.

The diesel would definitely be a profitable truck to flip and sell, but you would probably save a lot in fuel money if you kept it. We have a 2001 GMC Yukon and we've had some problems with that pushbutton 4WD. The less electronics the better. But honestly I think either truck would be great. If it were me, I would normally go with that 6.0. Especially, considering the fact that it has a long bed (at least it looked like one). But, fuel prices have started going up where we live so I would recommend the diesel. Keep up the great work and God bless - Everett

The latch on the 3rd door is a problem area. The attach point for the handle is plastic and breaks alot. You should beable to pick up a new door handle at autozone or Amazon . Ive been looking for a metal one myself to fix the problem.

Wow, you keep finding absolute steals. I wish I had the space to flip cars, would definitely try to make a living like that for a little while.

Sell the gasser! The diesel is way better towing wise and gas mileage wise. Besides, you can't complain with better fuel mileage!

I wasn’t paying too close of attention at the start and when I saw the Chevy emblem on the steering wheel I was so confused. 2:23 cleared it up for me though.

That is like no rust compared to a Michigan truck if u could find one with that little rust in Michigan it would go for 10k all day

Sell the gasser. Put money into the engine and whatever left into the rust. Get rid of the tool bed and put og tailgate on and she'll be clean.

I say sell the gasser...diesel will probably yield better mpg long term and since you're towing a lot it makes sense. Can't wait till the next vid!

Im slightly biased towards gas, id personally keep the gas and flip one of your diesels. If you were to keep this one, im assuming its a 5 speed auto and there is a tune kit you can get to turn it into a 6 speed auto

KEEP the diesel (if it makes sense) i just got one myself. these things run great and have proven to hold up good. also, $3000 for a duramax with 200k is great

Keep it and use it for your long trip towing adventures. Could always reuse the toolbox camper for another project.😊

If Westin can buy a shitbox truck with working AC for 1-2 grand and tow his moms porsche to the porsche dealer with it. This thing should be able to run.
