Well, it is up to you. Most of the times I am fine with AI upscaling as I need to increase the resolution. But sometimes I want to modify the image so I need to use creative upscaling. The main takeaway is that creative upscaling will change your image, even if you use a low denoise value. I think the best option is SD upscale in latent space, as sometimes the AI upscaler can add some strange artifacts. But have in mind that for upscaling in pure latent space you need good hardware and you might be limited by the model resolution.
