How? Aren’t the additional layers and complexity meaning that not only there are more steps in the manufacturing, but also a lower yield since there is a greater probability of defects?
@@Rullino32 IDK Man, watched snapdragon XE in-depth comparison video on Max tech and ARM is still trash on windows, maybe in 5-10 years it will change.
Absolutely great review and I have purchased this laptop customized and it’s premium built over $1600 but the perfect portable and high performance with the latest intel evo and 2TB, 32GB
I have one, it's been great to use really nice but their is one issue that I get alot that not many people talk about. Some times the track pad gets stuck in a click in position and doesn't go back up so you can't do anything and you have to close and re open the laptop lid. But yeah otherwise really good.
@iamtharunraj yeah the thermals are pretty bad, it doesn't necessarily over heat but the fans get pretty loud. The performance is the same under load though
Big big doubts, Thunderbolt is intel's property. Reason why AMD don't have thunderbolt, they would probably make them pay a big fee to have thunderbolt on AMD platforms. Apple devices still have thunderbolt probably because they helped its development and generalisation.
The iPad pro is not the first device with a tandem OLED. There have been cars and even the Honor magic 6 rsr. Otherwise Apple would keep saying it but instead they said the first Apple device with one
this xps13 is the first laptop with that kind of oled display BUT in this case no better brightness... you geht the other advantages though: better lifespan, lower power consumption and less danger of burn in.
Actually yes there's a difference between AMOLED and POLED. The way they're been manufactured and engineered are different like Samsung uses a extra layer for flexibility for AMOLED to make them form any shape imaginable while POLED is cheaper to make while having sustainable brightness higher than Samsung. This is just a general info I know but they're a lot different about them do do your research about this. Also not everything is the same, not even humans and tech like OLED
I've seen 2 options, 400 & 500 nits. I've been using a 400 nit oled laptop for a few years & apart from being outdoors on a sunny day it's more than bright enough.
@@Lee.S321 like you said, it's not great outside and HDR content is lacking. My point is that they ended up not releasing a 1,000+ nit Tandem OLED. Which is unfortunate because I would have purchased that add on.
Saw this laptop at Best buy.....its SICK!!!! prettiest laptop I've ever seen
Fun fact : Tandem OLED actually costs less to manufacture
Do you have the source on this?

Snapdragon X Elite 🔥🔥🔥
Snapdragon xe chip is inefficient and slow

I got the x elite OLED 32gb 1TB but I find the igpu capabilities weak at best. Everything else including the battery life is however insane.
$2500+ I meant
Best looking laptop EVER!
The Honor Magic 6 had a tandem OLED (from BOE I think) first, before the iPad.
ah you're talking about the ultimate
XPS also has a high chance being faulty, QC is horrible.
Hi Matt, thank you! Did you hear anything about the refresh rate? Is it 120 Hz?
Its 60 Hz
Avoid the XPS 13 it crazy disappointment.... Get the 13.8" surface laptop instead, better specs, screen, & high end chip.
@@ubacow7109 surface build quality isnt as good as the xps 13 plus. but it is the better device overall if you want to use it as a tablet.
If it had a 120hz oled panel it'd run out of power is minutes lol
It needs glowing touchpad borders to match its design.
Then it will be lg gram
How would you do that? I would be afraid that might trash up the aesthetics, I'm not against it, just has to be done right.
This is perfect... All the other Snapdragon x elite laptops have ips screens, this one doesn't have have an oled. But a dual tandem oled
What’s the difference?

Dell Tandem OLED: 60hz
Shame on Dell.
