Besides an android file app. Is very good it lets you copy paste plus allows you to put video or audio or photo etc on smartphones 1st page while Apple iOS can’t even think of doing improve like an android OS

When I save a file to “Files” it just disappears. Never goes to the files app.

Daniel, or anyone else out there, please please tell me how to move music from my music app on my iPhone to the Files app on iPhone. This was not covered in this video and I seem unable to do it.
I don’t think it will let you - especially if you bought them from the music site - they put DRM on them - also, the iPad and iPhone have very low storage capacity!

@@not_albert373 Well, I have been working from home because of the whole Covid thing. I recorded a video on my iPhone that I needed to upload to a desktop computer so I could edit it. In the office it wouldn't be a problem because I have a iMac there. But at home I have a PC. I was having a hell of a time trying to get the iPhone to connect to the PC. It just wasn't working. That's where the massive headache was building up.
Then I learned about the "files" app on the iPhone, and researched and found this video on youtube. Then I learned how to upload the recorded video to files. And then accessed my icloud account through the web browser on my PC. Finally was able to download the video in full quality to the PC.

Wow, I'm surprised.. this video was actually helpful.. I couldn't get some files and data from my iPhone to computer, but simply selecting the files and "Save to files" as shown around 04:26 and selecting iCloud worked! Then I easily downloaded from iCloud to my computer.

I’m not sure if it will work for you guys as well, but I copied the url, from where I was previously trying to download it (which was on Google) and pasted it on safari, then in safari I saw a pop up that had the button where it asked me to download. I pressed it and then when I checked the files app, it worked.

Not necessarily. When you put photos from the photo app to the files app and the photos are really in the files app, you have to go back to the photo app and delete the photos which you put in the files app. Speaking about albums. Don’t use albums in the photo app. Because the photos will stay in the photo library. Photos will never move to the album. It’s only a copy, so you get doubles. In the file app you can make folders. All the photos (definitely not all together) you have to move from the photo app to icloud drive in the file app.
