probably top 3 best performances in this top 24 round. he's incredible and Ive loved his "comeback" story after being doubted of even making it through the first round of Hollywood week

My favourite by a mile
He’s the absolute best by far and people should stop picking on his mouth. I bet no one would have said anything if Katy hadn’t said anything. His expressions are just part of him and he’s amazing. He’s in a league of his own. He’s so comfortable on stage and it comes naturally. He has an incredible voice.
I said something about his face as soon as he first opened his mouth 😂 but it’s getting better and it’s not affecting his tone at all-proof he doesn’t need to do it!
The face doesn’t help his case- but nonetheless he went from one of the ones I wanted to boot off quickly to one of the best of the night for me. Definitely top 3 performances of the night!

I'm a vocalist and mouth expressions are normal.
Such a sweet, enjoyable delivery, was missing the faces but he brought them in. He was telling this story, seemed to really be living them out up there. He adds that rasp, very exciting. This was like a lullaby. Very enjoyable.
He has a great voice, but it's the faces that does it for me. Its like it hypnotizes me, I can't seem to look away when he performs
Cant believe they almost cancelled him in the audition. But they made the right decision in the end. If you ask me one word to explain this performance... I'd say it was "Clean!!"

this man is so easy to like and he is amazing.
It doesn’t matter if Jack knows whether or not he’s connecting with the crowd, cuz we connect with him. Before that last lyric, he smiled and threw it out into the crowd. He’s so interesting to watch and does command the stage. His vocal was a storyteller, and his creative singing, including those facial expressions are all special! Katy still looks sorta unimpressed, but this is where she and I don’t see eye-to-eye. He’s beginning to tear down those criticisms she has; He ain’t going home.

His facial expressions and movements truly remind me of dave matthews (one of my favorite artists) his personality is so damn likable. I love this kid. I need him to be on the show for the whooooole season k thankkkkkksssss❤️❤️❤️

He has the most technically proficient voice on the show.
His song "Big Jefe" is a hoot. I would do it next time he gets to sing a contestants "choice" song. It's up tempo and shows another facet. The arrangement would have to be slowed down just a touch. A lot of words. I love this guys voice. Total fan. This guy is the definition of singer, songrwriter and storyteller. He's also low key cooler than cool, no tension at all when he sings.

He is the absolute best. No one on the show connects to the music as much as he does in my opinion.
@@jen4um go back and watch "your cheating heart" at the judges comments look at him when Luke says "we had a coupe" the little finger swoop point he does is an example of the "cool". Thats a quietly confident thing to do. He knows exactly who he is.

@@johnsuttoniiijs I agree. I did like Zachariah Smith from last year though. He had a powerhouse voice and stage presence, but towards the end the last songs he sang were the wrong songs, for example, the Lion King song.
Jack Blocker has a great voice and he reminds me of the awesome singer Johnny Lang who uses all his emotions on his sleeve when he sings. Meaning you can see how he feels through all his expressions while singing. Just always remember to annunciate all the words well through all those emotions.
Love Johnny Lang!!! He also gives me Shakey Graves vibes! If you haven't heard him, you gotta do it right now! Lol

This is exactly what I’ve been saying to people. He reminds me of the old days Jason Mraz. I don’t know if everyone realizes how talented Jack really is. I would personally go see him live tomorrow and buy his record. Phenomenal songwriter, vocalist guitar player…and just overall performer with his arrangements.

Don't think katie liked being told by another well known artist say that he respected her yet she was wrong & her face says it all. Absolutely love jack blocker from auditions through now & is in my top 10 picks still. Awesome choices that compliment his voice perfectly. There are artist who get off with thrills & frills, then there are artists who can just plant themselves in one spot & gathers the crowd who are hanging on every note. I like his jake's style!
