I think he knows exactly how good he is - it's why he was so adamant about keeping his facial expressions. He knows what he's about and who he is, which is a huge part of the battle!
Can’t agree more, Gene understood the assignment and I really think he brought out the best in these kids. Easily one of the best mentors American Idol has had.😊

I was a new music lover when Bob Dylan's career took roots, I was drawn to his distinctive voice. This re-creation of his song was dead on because of Jack's distinctive voice, perfectly done.
What a complete natural! Could listen to him for hours on end. They should resurrect the Idol Tour with this group of singers. I would have to win the lottery but I would pay anything to hear Triston and Jack headlining a show together. Jack just soothes my soul. Triston is totally wonderful. I hope they both turn into the superstars they are with good, honest people around them.
