How do you not have Red Dawn (original, not the new crap)?
WOLVERINES!!!!!
13 hours should have been in the list somewhere. Great list
Hacksaw ridge???
Cone is killing it in Walsh's place. I havent watched The Matt Walsh show this much ever.
He needs a show!!
I agree! Great job, Cone!
He did a great job, I think having a guest host was a great idea.
1. Red Dawn
Wolverines!!!!
The Sandlot has to be in there
Gotta have Armageddon somewhere on this list. Working class American drillers being sent up in space to blow up an asteroid to save the world?! C'mon now, at least an honorable mention
Hacksaw Ridge and We Were Soldiers was a miss on ya'lls list.
You should call this list The Most Patriotic Movies Since 1980.
Tora!Tora!Tora!. Is a solid flick it's an historical reenactment of the events of Pearl Harbor based on the contemporary military documents recorded by both American and Japanese military/ political leaders. Not an insane amount of action but it's packed with very interesting information, especially if you're a history nerd like me!!!! 9/10 would recommend.
#1 Patton, #2 From Here to Eternity, #3 The Patriot, #4 Hacksaw Ridge, #5 We were soldiers, #6 Men Of Honor, #7 Born on the 4th of July #8 Glory, #9 Gettysburg #10 Flags of our Fathers.
Born on the 4th of July isn't patriotic at all - anti if anything
When my cousin was young he wanted to be in the military, so my aunt (his mom) sat him down and had him watch Born of the Fourth of July. Didn’t want to join the military after that.
@@robertsalinas1029 not only did I serve I did so becuase that was what my family did, before self came country before country family and before family God. But it matters little if people through fear give up the rights that so many white crosses stand dressed right dressed which provided them that freedom. Politicians want power and control republican or democrat rarely matters. Busg signed away our rights of freedom and more ppwers of the state tp due to the fear of the people aftyer 911 with the patriot act and we have been allowing the political class to conti9nue to rob us of freedoms. Covid was another mass grab a trial run and lobbing control at the populace and once more the populace failed. perhaps people should stop listening to fear and stand up and understand they are the differance makers.
1) Patriot 2) Saving Private Ryan 3) Black Hawk Down 4) Midway 5) Miracle 6) Unbroken 7) Top Gun 8) The Alamo (1960) 9) We Were Soldiers 10) Rocky IV.... those are mine
1 Patriot, 2 Forest Gump, 3 Tombstone, 4 Remember the Titans, 5 Gangs of New York, 6 Top Gun, 7 Miracle, 8 Saving Private Ryan, 9 Apollo 13, 10 Rocky IV
as much as I like The Patriot, it's also terrible because it's full of so much historical inaccuracies and outrageous shit
@@BryonLettermanGood thing it is not a documentary then...
Movie is awesome!
Gangs of New York is incredible. “AMSTERDAM!”
@@turkeyslammer9549 not a patriotic movie though
@@BryonLetterman true
How is Captain America not even mentioned. It's literally in the name.
Forrest Gump was not a patriotic movie. It was actually a life lesson movie and anti war movie.
Agreed. Gump the character was super patriotic by accident and all the events he just happened to be at were mostly anti-American.
Slow, yes. Retarded? Maybe? But he charmed the pants of Nixon and won a ping pong competition! That ain’t retarded
Blain's argument for Battleship had me rolling lmao
Red Dawn (original)!!
How Black Hawk Down didn't make it and Fury did is criminal.
I agree with The Patriot as number 1. Patton should be in there as well as Sergeant York. The best though, it was a series, not a movie, was Band of Brothers.
I feel like they were just ranking their favorite war movies the whole time. I would have had a couple "growing up in America" films like The Sandlot and The Goonies. Also at least one American success story like The Founder or Social Network or Wolf of Wall Street. Then a few that were just oozing "Uhmerrka" like Raising Arizona or Animal House.
Also, for no reason at all, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Fury is top tier and doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It has a fantastic cast too
Personally the patriot is the best. But I like lone survivor over American sniper
HOW IS LICOLN 7 should not be on list OVER ROCKY
Lincoln is just to damn long
1. The Patriot
2. Patton
3. Saving Private Ryan
4. Pearl Harbor (guilty pleasure)
5. National Treasure (Nick Cage)
6. Forrest Gump
7. Top Gun
8. Midway
9. Zero Dark 30
10. Independence Day
Shout out to Rocky IV, which was directly responsible for the end of the Cold War.
I disagree withe IGB. I’m in Cone’s side. Especially when movies like Gettysburg, Sands of Iwo Jima, Iron Eagle, Clear and Present Danger, Hunt for Red October, etc exist.
Jeez. No Red Dawn, no Rambos, no Patton, no Midway, no Full Metal Jacket?! No racing movies, Ford v. Ferrari?! No Dances with Wolves?!?! My disappointed knows no depth
1 Patriot
2 Saving Private Ryan
3 Miracle
4 Inglorious Bastards
5 American Sniper
1. The Patriot. 2. Patton. 3. Saving Private Ryan. 4. We Were Soldiers. 5. The Longest Day. 6. Sands of Iwo Jima. 7. Sargeant York. 8. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. 9. The Green Berets 10. The Alamo. 11. Jim Thorpe
That's why I said in my other comment that their list is The Most Patriotic Movies Since 1980.
I see your Sands of Iwo Jina abd raise you a Bridge over the River Kwai
+Yankee Doodle Dandie
The Covenant is a solid film that deserves a mention. An Afghan war vet takes it upon himself to save his interpreter's family after Biden botched the Afghanistan withdrawal. That can-do attitude personifies America.
And I quote "TEAM AMERICA FUCK YEAH!!!!!!" How did that movie not make the top three on that line alone is beyond me
Pearl Harbor is a trash movie. Also, you guys need to watch more war movies, Saving Private Ryan is good but nowhere near the best.
Where's Midway on this list?
Red dawn not even making an appearance in this video is pretty rough.
Gotta include Red Dawn.. the original and Greyhound
Long Time Subscriber and Supporter. But this video almost made me want to throw my remote. No (Red Dawn 1894), No 13 Hours, No Hunt for Red October, Lone Survivor and Black Hawk Down weren't Top 10? Love you Guys. But Geesh.
I couldn't believe how far I had to scroll to find you being the first to mention "The Hunt for Red October"!
Movies not mentioned that make you feel patriotic - Red Dawn (how did this not get mentioned?), National Treasure, Gettysburg, Patton, The Longest Day, We Were Soldiers, Glory
David pulling out the tora tora tora reference was awesome. Used to watch that as a child. Give you a like for that one.
Number 1 Sergeant York
Y’all forgot Operation Dumbo Drop
The perfect example of a movie thats Pro-America while at the same time being Anti-War is American Sniper
oh brother THIS GUY (list) STINKS
Patton, 13 Hours, The Longest Day, Unbroken, Red Dawn, Band of Brothers (TV), The Right Stuff
No submarine movies?
D2: Mighty Ducks
Happy 4th of July!
Your list is null and void without Rocky IV…….Rocky IV should be Number 1 for fucks sake……Rocky SINGLE HANDEDLY ends the Cold War by HUMILIATING the Soviets IN THE SOVIET UNION. Jesus Christ guys.
Based of these movies
1. The Patriot
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. Top Gun and Maverick
4. Rocky 4
5. Team America
6. Miracle
7. Forrest Gump
8. American Sniper
9. Black Hawk Down
10. Lond Survivor
If you disagree with the top 3 your just wrong, no other way around it YOU ARE WRONG!!!
In no particular order:
Destination Tokyo
Red Dawn (original)
The Longest Day
Sands of Iwo Jima
Gettysburg
Midway (1976)
Executive Decision (with the future ex-wife of a future president)
The Naked Gun (Americans save the British Queen)
Patron’s speech in Patton is top 5 material all by itself. How is that not on here?
My dad was in Patton's 3rd. He'd quietly correct a lot of movies. I was too little to remember what he said, but I remember him doing it.
1. Patriot
2. Forest Gump
3. The Sandlot
4. Rocky 4
5. Apollo 13
6. Miracle
7. Red Dawn
8. Zero Dark 30
9. The Alamo
10. Wild America
Y'all missed Hacksaw Ridge and Midway!
Yes
"What other Pearl Harbor movies have been made?" Uh...FROM HERE TO ETERNITY?
I love the show, I bleed orange and blue (War Damn!), but you guys really need to expand your movie knowledge. No Tora, Tora, Tora? No Midway (the one with Charlton Heston and Henry Fonda)? What about The Longest Day? Patton? Kelly's Heros? And this is what really gets me, not a single John Wayne movie? Honestly, not only your man cards but your American man cards are in danger. At least David knew Tora! Tora! Tora!
Love the show. WDE! 😁
Let me throw in a curve ball and say Battle Los Angeles. Just a squad of Marines defending our border from alien invasion. Come on.
Sands of Iwo Jima, Tora Tora Tora, Midway (the remake, but the original is quite good), Glory and Captain America: The First Avenger should all be on the list.
Top gun 1
Top gun 2
Saving private Ryan
Sandlot
Red Dawn
The patriot
Rocky 4
Forrest Gump
American sniper
Miracle
Most patriotic musical of all time? 1776! The tremendous trio of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson team up with General George Washington to send England home with an L.
Glory, Gettysburg, To Hell and Back, Patton.
Those are just a few more that I think could've/should've made the list.
Almost Heroes?! Where would this country be without Chandler Bing and Chris Farley not blazing the trail to the Pacific?
Patton, Midway, Dirty Dozen, Great Escape, Glory, 1776.
@Crain&Co
Tora, Tora, Tora is a way better movie than Pearl Harbor
Lot more historically accurate and no romance crap
Just Pure Action and great history
Sergeant York Gary Cooper. Alvin York actually had input on the movie.
Shorter episode? Don't worry we still have the same amount ad reads. I can see Jeremy Boering rubbing his hands together gleefully sitting on a pile of 100's
Firefox with Clint Eastwood. Great watch.
How can you leave Armageddon and We Were Soldiers off the list? That is a great pro American movie
The Patriot 2. The war of 1812. Andrew Jackson kicks some ass.
FANTASTIC getups, my friends! EAGLE UP!
There is a sort of patriotic theme to Forrest Gump, but it is one of the most overrated movies out there. Loved it when I was younger and watched it a few years back and hated it.
How could you guys not include "Red Dawn" on this list? Talk about recency bias.
Not one mention of any movies from the novels of Tom Clancy? "The Hunt for Red October" is in my top 5.
Captain America The First Avenger should be mentioned
Escape from New York.
😂
DO NOT put Lincoln in there. Replace that with Sergeant York.
Miracle is about a top 5 American moment ever... if its not in your top 10 your list is invalid
The Patriot is #1 for me all day we were chanting USA USA for a week after that movie
How is 13 hours not on this list?!
Blaine is right Battleship is an underrated gem (and very patriotic as well)
The patriot 2...1812😂
I thought the same thing
Left out the movie 1776
Doesn't get much more patriotic in the literal sense, but it's kind of a terrible movie.
How could they forget Olympus has fallen?
The sandlot?
you guys for real made this list and didn't even mention Red Dawn
Why the hell did Flamin Blaine go to a Schwarzenegger voice when referencing his memories of Rocky IV. Soooo many wrongs there, Arnold is not only from a different country but a totally different Continent than Drago!!! Austria (Adolph Hitler's homeland 😮) is where Schwarzenegger originally hails which is European and not Russia which is Asia.... So so so many people have no clue thats true 😂😂😂 pretty sad
Yeah! And Stallone doesn't lisp, he just never speaks any consonants.
Unbroken should totally be up in the conversation
My dudes, how did you miss Hacksaw Ridge????????
Kinda disappointed 12 strong wasn't on the list.
Tom Brady at the patriots two priceless!!!
Highly recommend Taking Chance
No Red dawn??? Seriously??
National Treasure and 1776. nuf said
Sandlot and The Alamo gotta be considered
Flag for your father's not on the list????
Air Force 1 deserves to be on this list!!!
“Do you have the president!?”
“Define ‘have’!”
"Get. Off. My. Plane!"
Such a shame. Nothing older.
Need to swap Pearl Harbor for Midway
How is World Trade Center not on here? It was a terrible day, but America stood united after it happened.
Unfortunately the unity lasted about 5 minutes.
The Right Stuff, Tombstone, the end
What about We Were Soldiers?!?!?
The Marine series with Cena & Miz????
Fury isnt based off a true story lol
