Guys, Bellinger is in the top 6 center fielders in MLB. Bring up Armstrong and have him play left or right. Don't just throw Busch back to the minors. This year is mostly like last year except Cody isn't carrying these games. I believe this team is counting on him getting going.

After Hendricks was bombed into oblivion in his first 6 starts with a 10.76 ERA, they brazenly brought him in from the BP, only to be bombed once again ...
Hoyer and Ricketts continue to trot Hendricks out there knowing that each time they cannot recover more that $79.38 on his 2024 $16m contract ...
My guess is Counsel never consented to this madness and Cubs fans should be infuriated ... so it's now all about money at this point ...

@@douglascarlson9006 So Jed built this team, and has the No.1 farm. We are a Star Closer away from chasing World Series. I don't think Jed is micro managing Counsel. I think Counsel should stop putting guys out 2 innings when they just had a good inning would help the bullpen a ton. Build confidence. The Bullpen wears on the lineup just like last year, we score 6 runs, they score 7. If they moved a Alcantara or Wicks for Jhoan Duran, we are winning World Series for multiple years.
@@douglascarlson9006 But Jed would pry like Cody at 1B with Busch struggling. Then Pca Tauchman in CF. The manager fills out the lineup cards tho, not management. And yes, imo Hendricks should get a chance in an Empty bullpen. At the very worst he can be your Long Relief guy. He will get a good shot there and should, around the deadline he could be traded tho. Guys pay low A prospects for guys like Hendricks every year. Just to eat up innings. This isn't Hendricks 1st bad start. He turned it around and played his best ⚾ before. He's gonna be good in the Bullpen, give it a little time...that we don't have. 😅 But Kyle projects to be a good Bullpen arm with the way he gets through the lineup the 1st time in starts. Was 2nd time through he got lit up. In Bullpen, he won't see but 3-6 Batters.
