This tutorial deserves to be in the bible of natural hair! I've always followed the same steps and i just sent this to someone else for reference ❤ (and omg stretching only the back part of the front section is such a great tip, thanks!!)
i love that you actually break it down, like the separating and all; most videos skip all these very important details and leave them out thank you for elaborating and honing in step by step w/ each detail!
This video was soo helpful!! Thank you so much. I tend to struggle with the “twist out maintenance”. I always retwist them at night and add oil/moisture cream when necessary BUT around day 5 my hair just looks stringy. You should add a video tutorial for twist out maintenance 👀👀
I’m so glad this video helped you beauty 🥰🥰🥰 I’m working on a new method for longer lasting curls...so when I got it down packed, I got you!! 😁 I appreciate the suggestion, thank you!!
Thank you soooo much. I’m a brand new natural and this helped me so much and the details provided in this were amazing!! I can’t wait to try this method soon!
I did a flexi rod set on my 4 month transitioning (keratin to natural hair) hair last night and I'm back on this video to take down this set step-by-step with you sis.. once again, thank you for this video.. this newbie sub NEEDS this video.. 🥰
When ever I use a pick, I can feel pulling & breakage at the root no matter how gentle. I don't like it & just use my fingers at the the roots & pull up, etc....at this point it is what it is...growing my hair & want every strand.
This is a GREAT video.. clear, thorough and you make me feel like I can do a take-down and not mess it up.. thanks for the confidence boost sis... other vloggers speed up this important part of the video or do it off camera 🙄like how we supposed to learn if you're rushing through it? I'm a few months into transitioing, from keratin and heat damage, so I need someone to be thorough and explain things in detail because I know nothing!! If you made this video longer, I'd be even more happy.. I'll be watching this video over and over until I am confident in this entire process. Thank you for being such a great teacher.. #newsub
Hmmm I don’t think so. Because I’ve done mini twists, left them in for 2 weeks and had a nice twist out. It could either be the products you’re using don’t have a good hold or your twists are too loose 🤔 How do yours look?
@@jayrenee I can send you a few pictures on Instagram of my last twist out when I did it watching your video, I’m about to do another twist out I can send you those results too
Thank you for this video! I have a tendency to rush when taking down my twists, which is probably part of the reason why my hair NEVER looks like the video!
Thank you so much for this video I mess up everytime I was looking for a video just like this you explain everything so clearly and make it easy thank you ❤️

You know, I’ve actually slowed down on using my pick for this very reason 💯 I use my fingers way more!!

Great Video and well detailed ☺️
Aww thank you so much!! 😁🤩
I think my problem is that I make my twists too small, or I just keep them in too long bc yours look way better than mine

I don’t mind having frizz in my twist out which more than likely I would get it no matter what 😂😂😂
Shauntell Wilson girl I’m in love with definition 😂😂 but after day 3, I do make it frizzy on purpose because I love the volume of it 😍😍
Thank you for sharing

How long was your hair twisted before you separated them?
I believe about an hour close to 2 hrs. I sat under the hooded dryer so it could dry quicker
Your so pretty 😍
Thanks I didn’t want to mess it up like I did last time😂
Lol no problem!! I messed up soooo many times before I got it together, so don’t even feel bad lol
