Those types of dogs are such good guard animals, my friend has them and they kill coyotes all the time but they are like the sweetest, don't mess with their animals!
I also just think how cool it is that because there are multiple generations of those dogs for the farm owner that minimal training is required for puppies since the parents will teach them to do the same job they've been doing. That's just super cool to me.
Since it was mentioned here... Studies have come out that suggest that killing predators, like coyotes and wolves, does NOT help. It may even make the problem worse. The real problem isn't predators, it's rapid deforestation and the worldwide livestock industry encroaching on their natural habitats. Livestock loss due to predators is a drop in the ocean. Even more so when compared to losses from disease and other physical complications. It's sad to hear about things like this. It's an immense loss of life and biodiversity.

Favs are the ones who babysat the lost goats. They're like "Yep this is our kid now. We will share when first mother approaches after a strict inspection."
I love the energy of the dogs, like they don't care who's running the show, they're just chill with following whoever around :D Such a great video! Animal Crossing OST definitely fits really well
livestock dogs always amaze me, such smart doggos. i remember seeing a video where i think goats would sometimes touch a live fence and the livestock dog instantly was like, this fence is bad and barked at the fence, the doggo then would push the goats away when they got too close to the fence
i am OBSESSED with this video. i’ve watched it so much, i even made my sister watch it. this sounds like a joke, but im being painfully for real. something about the baby goats, and the dogs, and the caring for them makes it so fun to watch. more, please!

As someone going into fisheries and wildlife management your content is just so so amazing!! All the work you do is just TOP TIER and it's inspired me to hopefully be able to do the same with the work I want to do
Im a mobile mechanic by trade while working on a ladys car an opportunity came to me to run her ranch i didn't know anything about running a ranch with horses, cows, goats, chickes, ect, ive been working with animals and running her ranch for two years now. And i love the work im doing but there is so much to learn still. I came across your channel and have learned so much that i try to apply it here. Working with animals is healthy if you ask me. thanks
You're living my dream! His animals are so sweet, you can tell they're loved. I love llamas and the fact that they can be badass guards! With all those goaties, dogs and llamas I'd pass out from cuteness overload! 💗
Loved this, my mum loved this even more, it brought back memories of working on her dad's farm they also had like 12 dogs. I grew up in the city but based off the stories farm life sounds cool
Im so glad that I found your channel you are so kind and thoughtful i love animals so much and to see someone care so much about teaching people that the animal ambassadors at alveus are not pets and that you just do what you do because you are just a overall kind human being. Thank you Maya for being awesome and being yourself. :)
Jet made me emotional, I grew up with a border terrier who was like my literal child, so seeing another one so affectionate like she was back then got to me out of NOWHERE
love ag1. been using it for about a year. Now, about how to use. problems i found: putting mixture in first causes hydrophobic layer i button that you need to scrape off, causes clumps shaking to hard causes boubles, better without bubbles. solution fill shaker with a bit of water. 2-3cm (probably about an inch) one scoop of mixture same amount on water on top shake hard water out mixture to you preference shake gently(turn shaker) enjoy. this off course also works on all protein shakes and meal rep shakes that have same problems. usually need more water before hard shake stage for thicker shakes.
This is like countless times better than your previous life! Edit: Now even your ads are much more interesting that the clips I used to watch of yours some time ago.
Thank you for your service Maya, i've been watching your videos for a while and you are an amazing person , congratulations on all your success and thank you for everything you do you are awesome !
also i love how the dogs despite being independent career women/men, they’re still whiny and get all excited to see you and for food and pets. dog gonna dog
It makes me kinda sad that I come from a family of farmers and never got to do any farm work. It looks hard but would have loved to be around animals and nature every day. You are living the dream 🙌
I love that the baby doat saw the livestock guardians and was like “ARE YOU MY MOM?” So smol, doesn’t know his abc’s or who his mom is

Cute animals! That's pretty awesome of Maya to spend hours a day helping her neighbor for free when she's already so busy lol.
I don't know if we know that it's without pay... unless I missed something, but either way.
