I would watch a 12 hour video of Maya taking care of a farm with AC music in the background. So soothing, and the animals are all so cute I could die.

Those baby goats are just the embodiment of no thoughts head empty. I love them so much
Those types of dogs are such good guard animals, my friend has them and they kill coyotes all the time but they are like the sweetest, don't mess with their animals!
I also just think how cool it is that because there are multiple generations of those dogs for the farm owner that minimal training is required for puppies since the parents will teach them to do the same job they've been doing.
That's just super cool to me.
Since it was mentioned here... Studies have come out that suggest that killing predators, like coyotes and wolves, does NOT help. It may even make the problem worse. The real problem isn't predators, it's rapid deforestation and the worldwide livestock industry encroaching on their natural habitats. Livestock loss due to predators is a drop in the ocean. Even more so when compared to losses from disease and other physical complications.
It's sad to hear about things like this. It's an immense loss of life and biodiversity.

@@Roch10Family The difference between people with experience on stuff and the "I'm a nerd and I did read something on the subject and can now post a comment that holds some weight" kind of people.
@@Valorene On a global scale sure. But farmers don't really care much for the global scale generally when its their own specific animals being killed by predators.
Cute animals! That's pretty awesome of Maya to spend hours a day helping her neighbor for free when she's already so busy lol.

Likely she's not being paid (but there might be an appreciation gift). Generally these things are just a reciprocal situation where if she needs help with something in the future, the help is generally there.

livestock dogs always amaze me, such smart doggos. i remember seeing a video where i think goats would sometimes touch a live fence and the livestock dog instantly was like, this fence is bad and barked at the fence, the doggo then would push the goats away when they got too close to the fence
My family used to have goats. I loved going down and playing with the babies all the time. The environment they were in had a nice hill for them, too!

Im a mobile mechanic by trade while working on a ladys car an opportunity came to me to run her ranch i didn't know anything about running a ranch with horses, cows, goats, chickes, ect, ive been working with animals and running her ranch for two years now. And i love the work im doing but there is so much to learn still. I came across your channel and have learned so much that i try to apply it here.
