    Back in the day this knife was originally made for divers, so the theory is they made the handle extra long to account for people using it with gloves. Great blessing for those of us with giant hands lol.

    Good review thanks! I've always wondered why this knife is not more popular. I had a Buck 120 which I loved but lost it. I was very happy with the steel because of it's excellent edge retention. I could fillet a bunch of large fish and not have to resharpen it. I've never tried the 124. I might have to get one.

      I will charlie, i can see at least 1/4 of that handle going away. A dremmel with a drum is the way to go for blending the radius, 1” belt sander will square away the side contours. Most of my knives are eithe full flats or sabres but i want a larger knife with hollow grind for food prepp. Thanks for the vid bud ! 🇺🇸💪🏻👊🏻

      I have no idea, but it is thicker than the usual buck knives, has a visible full tang, taller blade, and micarta handles. Is that worth the price difference? I really don't know, when it was $130 it was to me anyway, at $180 if I had not had one and used one, maybe not. Thanks Dan.

    Bought this knife close to month ago , does anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket sheaths ?

    • @charlesjonestherednecknerd
      @charlesjonestherednecknerd  2 года назад

      I have seen some crossdraw sheaths on Amazon that are all leather and have good reviews. Unfortunately I have no experience personally with the sellers/makers or the sheaths themselves.
