    3:55 Dry eyes
    4:32 Night blindness
Today we’re going to talk about the 11 things that your eyes can tell you about your nutritional status.
Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the outer part of the eye. This could be a virus, like pink eye. In this case, you could try colloidal silver and zinc.
Your eyes could also be inflamed from blue light if you’re in front of the computer all day long. There is a free app called f.lux that can filter out the blue light.
The less sleep you have, the more red your eyes can be. If you can’t sleep, you could have a potassium deficiency, calcium deficiency, magnesium deficiency, or a vitamin B1 deficiency.
Allergies could make your eyes red. Vitamin A and vitamin D may help with this issue. Cod liver oil is a good source of both vitamin A and vitamin D.
An immune disorder can occur with the eyes where you have high levels of a certain T cell (T helper cell 17). A good remedy could be vitamin D.
Hemorrhaging of the eye could mean that you need more vitamin C, or vitamin K. Vegetables are high in both of these vitamins.
Light sensitivity to the eyes could be a vitamin B1 deficiency. Nutritional yeast is a great source of vitamin B1.
Vascular keratitis is an inflammatory condition of the eyes that seems to respond well to B vitamins.
Dry eye is a classic symptom of a vitamin A deficiency. Fatty fish, egg yolks, butter, cheese, and cod liver oil are good sources of vitamin A. If you’re already consuming these foods, and you still have dry eyes, you could have a bile deficiency. In this case, purified bile salts may help.
Night blindness could be an issue of low amounts of vitamin A.

Dr, I’ve taken up Keto after watching your videos on RUclips and I’ve benefited at large..20kgs down in 5months. Thank you from the bottom of my healthier heart!
    I request you to clarify:
My daily calorie need is 2000 calories and 75% fat is 150 gms. My cholesterol his gone up multi fold. I noticed you video on “when to limit fat “ posted few days back. You had mentioned that people with hypercholesterolemia must limit fat to 70g ..but you didn’t mention about the other macros- protein and carbs.
Also, if cholesterol is vital and not a market for cardiac health, why bother about it?
We do not have mainstream doctors to advice on this. I seek your advice on this.
    Thanks in advance

@@JannyMaha I'll give you the one my mum uses. If ox liver, marinade it in vinegar overnight. When you're ready to cook it, put some flour in a bowl and mix with salt and pepper. Then dip the marinaded liver into the flour, and fry in a pan. Make sure it's sliced thin enough so it cooks through properly. Dry till nice and golden brown. For chicken livers, brown onions in a pan. Once brown enough, don't burn, add the chicken livers, and add salt and pepper to taste.

PS, I have for the last 8 years only been drinking distilled water (no flouride at all incl toothpaste) labido was very high indeed before the Bile salts (Started 01/05/2023), even at the age of 51! He is of the opinion that it is most likely vitreous degeneration. But i refuse to accept that its natural. I feel its definitely because of a high carb/sugar diet and related inflammation. Normally dark skin under the eyes is an iron deficiency.
Best to get it checked out

And everyone if you have a stye put colloidal silver on a cotton pad (saturate it) and place over eye over night you’ll probably have to do it a few nights in a row. When it happened to me and I wasn’t going anywhere I left the patch on all day (with changing it of course)

I have a question for you. I can see pretty well but theres been more of a fog in front of my vision for a few years now. I take multivitamins and lutein but doesn't seem to help.. Something I found odd recently is when I eat a salad my vision clears up for a few hours afterwards. Have you ever heard of this happening? If so, Can you please explain to me why? By the way, I love your vids, they are very informational :)

Hi Dr Berg. Thank you for these informative videos. They are greatly appreciated. I am vegetarian and few family members are vegan. Can all these vitamins that you mentioned for the wellbeing of eyes be consumed by the foods that we eat or do we need to take supplements/tablets/capsules for them, especially potassium, magnesium, iron.

I had really severe dry eye symptoms after starting Keto, but it started going once I was taking Electrolytes... I'm still taking them.. No doubt my diet wasn't good enough anyway and hadn't been for a long time to get the vitamin A. ?

It sounds like he prefers you get your vitamin A from the foods he mentioned being rich in the vitamin like salmon along with a few others. Unfortunately I can't remember them but it's toward the end of the video. Maybe I need some vitamins for this lack of info retention. Ha ha
