The 757 climbs like a homesick angel, even with a full load of fuel, pax and belly carge. Such an awesome machine.

“…and breakfast”. Ugh. Bring back these days. The industry just sucks now. I’ve been in it for 23 years, and I literally long for the days before 9/11. Thanks for the memories - long live TWA ❤️🥺

Great video! Only ever flew TWA JFK-CDG-MUC on a 747-100 and LHR-JFK L-1011-250. (Gulf Air metal, TWA crew) Great service and Terminal 5 was unforgettable!

I worked this flight from JFK to STL, then worked a STL to MSP flight. My best friend Dana took the video pic. I was working the L 2 position in First class before I became a purser. I was also a French language of Destination. This was a fun flight. All the passengers was just awesome!!

Roy Martin i flew many times in the early 90s on twa as a little kid from msp to sju. Would u happen to know if all the routes went through stl and what type of aircraft was used? I must say that flying as an unaccompanied minor on twa was a great experience.

What was the breakfast like in the main cabin in 1999?

I think they started to scale it back in 99 if I remember correctly. It might have been eggs, sausage, and pancakes, or if scaled back, a muffin and banana. When we flew the L-1011s from LGA to Florida in the early-mid 90s, they had a pretty good spread.
