  • Using over 1200 illuminating drones, lasers, projectors, music and narration, Aṉangu - the people who have always lived around Uluru - share part of their sacred story with visitors in a way never seen before, while making history with the biggest permanent, ongoing drone show in the world.
With Uluṟu in the background, this magnificent display in Sky Country and across the desert floor is one of the most amazing things we've ever seen!

    I prefer just the stars
    Kinda polluting
    But that's just me

I know what you mean, and the stars here are incredible, but the way this important Creation story is told here is really impressive. Plus it’s a new way to bring people back to Uluru to experience and understand this ancient culture. You should check it out. I think you’d dig it ❤️

I've been to uluru several times
My son worked there as a tour guide
I'd rather be told the stories and use my imagination
      But that's just me.
If the indigenous people are onboard with it that's all that matters ❤

@@kripaharris237 What a cool job your son had. Such a special place. Yes, this was the Anangu's idea - they wanted to share this part of their story with others, and Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, who put the framework together, worked really closely with elders to make sure the story was told right. We were lucky enough to be at a press conference with the Anangu elders, the CEO of VITA and the drone architect who built the show. Absolutely fascinating. The drone show is narrated too by the way, so you hear the story evolve while you watch the iconography in the sky. But like you so rightly say, it's not for everyone. :-) Thanks for chatting about this. We're really passionate about the project and what's happening at Uluru.

too true. There's no city lights to interfere. Plenty of free guided talks too.

@@nanniecath528 that’s right! The guided treks around Uluru are so good, aren’t they? The community has really worked hard to create lots of things to do in the area ❤️
