    In summary, cute but way too pricey for me. For expensive special finish polish (such as Holo taco lol) I save my money for months and go all out on sales and black friday. But for cremes, the cheap drugstore alternatives are usually good to me. Honestly, I have a bunch of cremes I bought for like 3-5€ that are beautiful colors and opaque in 2 coats, and that's all my broke ass is asking for. So 20$ ? Naaah 🤣

    • @elainaveasey5831
      @elainaveasey5831 2 года назад +10

      I guess how I look at it is that its better to use a larger quantity of sustainable packaging once instead of taking the risk with less packaging because if the product arrives broken then thats even more waste, and an additional “carbon cost” in getting it replaced and shipped again.

    • @boop6169
      @boop6169 2 года назад +9

      if they used a sustainable Packaging thatd save them in the end both in cost and for the environment. With the cost of the Product they HAVE the money to set aside to send sustainable packaging. Worked in a warehouse…. They’re GONNA BREAK. Now ya gotta send the product back. That’s more Packaging. More transportation. More emissions. And more waste created bc they can’t sell that once they get it back.

    not sure if this is well known but tyler has stated multiple times that his brand is pricey for a reason, even back when he was still with odd future (2014ish) and when his well known blue flame design was j released. he likes to think of it as a way to show that people will buy ugly stuff solely for the reason they like the creator of it. plus stuff like the nail polish and the luggage sets are specifically for collectors and are more leaning towards something like a collectors piece as apposed to something you're supposed to get a thorough use out of

  • @Pollen_Raid

    of the three (Harry, mgk, and Tyler) I would probably pick Tyler's over the others despite there only being two actual colours and the general price because at least for me and my tastes, they looks cute and IMO, that blue and orange pair really prettily together and I love that combo as a pair as well as I can see myself enjoying both the colours sepreatly, so while I probably could find a couple colours in mgk's line considering he had the most colour option(from what was reviewed by nailogical of course, I have not went on myself to go and look at any of these brands to know if there were others that maybe she just didn't bother buying or not) and if I recall, his were cheaper than harries and tylers that were $20, but like I said, for me it would boil down to packaging if I had no option but these three to pick from simply because I'm a simple biss who would not bat an eyelash at spending a few extra dollars for a flower cap because I think its cute XD I also don't care for toppers like glitters or holo (sorry XD!)
    I used to be big on them in my teen and late 20's but now I'm really digging the solid creme colours, especially matted, **drool**, so creams really speak to me more than toppers or iridescent, glitters, holo, glossy, so I could even do without needing to buy the glitter toppers and settle with just buying the blue and orange and be pretty content with my choice.

    Lovely colors, I like that it opaque after 2 coats. Seems better quality than Essie. I like iridescent glitters and was impressed how well it showed up with 1 application. Not the worse celebrity polish but I agree at $20 a bottle, you better package that glass better for shipping. They throw our packages out here like jerks so really need that packaging to handle the lumps it gonna get. I would have to pass on his polish. I think I will bookmark the page though to look at ingredients because with that price point his brand might be at least 9 free of certain chemicals. I did notice that the more bad chemicals a brand omits, cruelty free, and vegan the higher price goes though there are affordable contenders now in that arena. Commit if ya'll already know, if his brand actually makes at least 1 of these goodies.

  • @momoonkissed

    I understand the price point because Golf Le Fleur is a high end luxury brand, like Dior or Channel, (I don't know their exact prices but they must be around the same range or even more) I know it's not that comparable but it's just an analogy. They're selling a collectors piece (knowing the fans of Tyler that buy stuff from Wolf Gang) . Personally I think it's okay for Golf Le Fleur nail polishes to cost this because it's a pricey known brand, unlike Harry Styles which is just starting and using his name, he doesn't have previous references for his products...

    • @PriusRaj
      @PriusRaj 2 года назад +3

      No, I think they should have made better polish then. You can't use your past reputation as an excuse to keep the price and reduce the quality of future products.

    Glitter is a song from Tyler the Creator's "Flower Boy" album, hence the name of that polish. It's really cool to see a broke black kid from Hawthorne grow up and create an empire while challenging masculinity norms and being unapologetically ridiculous in the process. Yes, I would buy because I am a fan, just like I'm sure people buy your products because they are fans of you. This is not me saying anything about the quality of either product because I don't own either. Just that loyal fans are loyal fans! :)

      Yeah, I always thought it was cool when Dennis Rodman did it, so I get what you're saying. Different generations always have their person. And like you, I can't speak to the quality of these particular products because I don't own either, so it's no hate towards either one.

      You put this so well. I personally would rather support him in different ways than this polish, but that's not the point.
      Also, for those who don't know. He's also gay in hip hop, a scene shrouded in an unfortunate amount of homophobia, and masculinity issues. Obviously being gay isn't an achievement, but the way he, Frank Ocean, lil nas x etc have blazed the way for change and the youth is worth mentioning.

    i feel like every big celeb that comes out with whatever type of product (unless it’s what they went to school for or is what they do for a living) just makes the product so the consumer can add something to their collection or have another piece of merch. it’s definitely stuff that is bought for the brand and celeb rather than the actual product. sometimes even clothes aren’t the best quality. but we still buy it because we love the celeb/creator
    it also goes without saying it’s usually stuff people can buy and keep to sell later for a lot more money. (obvi not polish or makeup cuz that expires)
    i think this branding is cute tho !!! like the whole vibe is adorable and i have always loved tyler’s brand and his vibe even tho i don’t follow him on anything or listen to his music

    • @LucretiaPearl
      @LucretiaPearl 2 года назад +1

      It's partially the shape as well as the general width that I think is awkward. But that all depends on the person. A few guys & gals I know with larger hands don't like bigger caps on other polishes. I would assume too skinny AND too wide are a bad idea for actual use, from my own experience. I have man-like hands, but they're smaller man-like hands. LOL

  • @macyrae7351

    I think the cap can be really good for people who have mobility issues with their hands. Holding a normal nail polish brush can be really hard because they are small.

  • @briannauwu3482

    another good thing about the caps: it’s a lot easier for people, like me, with arthritis. it allows more grip and it doesn’t cause as much pain. i also deal with tremors and the cap would also help with those.

    Tyler has made MAJOR money with clothing and accessories, he was the creator behind odd future and it’s doughnut logo, but even when they had OF he also did another golf wang line which went crazy, I personally bought ALOT of golf wang clothing when it was designed by Tyler. Golf Le Fleure in my understanding came after he branched out of odd future and that company as a whole and ventured into his solo business and artistry. He did a fashion show to present it as well when the brand was first thought of or created you can watch !
    I’m kind of rambling lol but Tyler was and is one of the biggest inspirations to me when it comes to creativity and becoming your own boss, but if you weren’t aware he has had MAJOR success in apparel for quite a long time now
