@@sunmoonstar9125 Same reason a CD will never be as good as a live performance or AI music won't replace real live musicians. When you join a "community", you are there for the human feel. going to a concert sounds subpar to the actual recorded CD, but you go not just because you like the music, but its the mix of the music, the performer, the group, etc...unlike art (graphic art, videos, etc), an actual content creator (musician, podcaster, vlogger) is giving more than information, they are giving you their inherent position on things and it becomes a bit tribal...this is something AI simply can't replace. There will (and already is) plenty of AI youtube channel, but it won't be replacing anyone that is big. Mr BeastBot won't replace Mr Beast. PewdieProgram won't replace Pewdiepie, etc.

Now it's just a matter of polishing what we have.

With the new legislation recently introduced, there's a very strong possibility that innovation will be forcibly stopped or stolen by government and corporate collusion. The people involved in drafting the newest legislation are tied to business interests and may not want to compete with newer, more efficient AI technologies. Why tarnish your own brand image if you can just say someone else's work is a safety concern?

You guys are fools! Chat GPT IQ is at 155 right now she does the toughest physics and engineering problems instantly and GPT 5 when it comes out by September will be 1600 and then 6 months after that 16000 and then 6 months after that 160000. It goes by a magnitude of 10 every 6 months and it’s moving exponentially!

This video has been AT LEAST been entirely written by an AI, or chatgpt. I suppose the majority of those videos are at this point.
They are repetitive, click-baity and they rarely if ever focus on negative aspects of the argument (more employment after AI? Sure).
Personally, most of this content already looks AI generated and it rarely has valid data to be judged from.

That's a very optimistic view...It's more likely that:
    *1) Healthcare and Medicine:*
A system that discriminates, favoring those who can afford advanced technologies in the best scenario. A developement of new and lethal viruses and disease as a tool of control(overpopulation) and/or warfare in the worst.
    *2) Work and Economy:*
Automation wipes out entire sectors of work, creating masses of unemployed people and fueling social unrest.
New classes emerge: the masters of AI and their servants(If needed, otherwise: the useless class. see Harari's work about it).
    *3) Space Exploration:.*
Nothing fancy here(nothing that I think of at the moment), but there is always the danger of obscuring the sky...""What we know for sure is that we were the ones who scorched the sky.(q)" 😎
    *4) Security and Surveillance:*
A regime of permanent surveillance, where every move is monitored and controlled. AI becomes the tool of repression of dissent and individual freedom.
A nightmare of cyberattacks that endanger everyone's safety.
    *5) Energy and Food Production:*
Overproduction and abundance, yes, but at the same time artificial scarcity. Same story here: Control of resources in the hands of a few, who decide the fate of many.
    *6) Education and Instruction:*
School could be unnecessary at best, or it could be discrimination against students, benefiting those with access to advanced technologies. Perhaps education will morph into a stratified system, where access to advanced technologies grants privilege, while others are left behind, their potential shackled by preordained algorithmic instruction.(or genetic one in perfect Gattaca style😜👩‍🚀)
    *7) Social Welfare:*
Well,...there is no really need it...isn't it?
    *8) Personal Assistant:*
That's easy and connected with point 4. Privacy becomes an inaccessible luxury(for the few maybe?). The virtual assistant decides for us, limiting our freedom of choice. Where to go, what to buy, who to hang out with, and maybe even who to marry...
    *9) Integration into Everyday Life:*
Why would you like to do that?? AnYwaY, alienation from reality, immersed in a virtual world. It's a wonderful, wonderful life!!
    *10) AGI*
THE END of the human race.
*P.S.* Ok that's a bit pessimistic, but AI isn't all unicorns and rainbows, especially with the way our economy is set up right now. We either change the system or we're heading straight for a dystopian future.
    Greetings from the future.

    • @jamesaritchie1

That is nonsense. Everything in this video is already happening. ALL of it.
AI already has an IQ of 155, and I happen to know that advanced military AI is smarter than that. Even 155 makes the average person seem like monkey who wears clothes.
AI is already better at diagnosing many diseases than are human doctors, and already performs precision surgery better than human doctors.
AI is used extensively in space exploration, in solving scientific problems that have puzzled humans for a century, and it used extensively in every business.
My company has now replaced eleven people because of AI, including two software engineers.
We have a LOT of money set aside for buying humanoid robots in no more than three years. The first two will be used as personal assistants. If they work out, and they will, we plan to buy others to use in the work force.
Anyone who used a smart phone or a computer is already using AI, whether they know it or not.
In FACT, ten years is extremely pessimistic.
