    I literally changed the time back to automatic on my tv and it worked. Thank you sooooo much. I been sitting here for so long trying to get my wifi to work on my tv.

      Thanks for the info, change back the settings and it's up and running again.. the technician was here for over an hour trying to fix the problem 😅..

    I’ve been trying to figure out this issue for hours. Found your video. Reset the time to automatic. It turns out my son changed it when daylight savings changed. And all is well again.
    Now liked and subscribed and I’m off for a beer. I need it.

    I have a 70" TCL Google TV and the step that fixed mine was to disable the "Scanning is always available" setting in "Network & Internet" settings under "Other Options" right below the WiFi settings.
    Might want to add this

    I successfully setup a hotspot from my phone and logged onto the wireless network afterwards and it connected right away. Thanks very muchly 👊

    Ive been having connection issues with my TCL TV. At first when i set up the TV i had no issues with Wi-Fi then it suddenly stopped workin.
    I tryed to connect it with LAN cable and still had issues. It worked for a while but then stopped working again.
    The TV was complaining about limited internet connection. This video helped me a lot. The time and date was set on manual.
    When i set it to automatic the internet workes with no issue atleats with the LAN cable. Going to try the Wi-Fi soon.

    Thanks I got it working. I had changed the wifi password and then the tv wouldn't connect (obviously) but when I tried to reconnect it, it wouldn't detect any wifi networks. Fixed it after holding the power button on the tv til it restarted.

    Disabled mac filter then unplugged my TV for a few minutes. Its working now thanks

    Thank you so much for your video, I was going nuts, I just bought TCL tv manufactured on June 2023, it only connects to 2.4G, just found out in the manual, I have a router extender Netgear with 2 frecuencies 2.4G and 5G all my devices can connect to 5G without problem but the new TV only would connect to the 2.4G it doesn't find the 5G one. Is there a fix for this? I tried ethernet cable connected to the Netgear extender but connection gets disconnected from time to time as main router on ground floor and tv on 2nd floor...will a new wifimodule be installed to get 5G? Thank you in advance :)

    Easy fix= goto tv settings and restart tv… quick and easy and worked for me !

      This helped !!! Even after shutting down the tv with remote, i had same wifi problem.
      But going to settings, and restart it trough the official menu fixed it !!

    This helped me with my TV! I adjusted the date and time then everything works again, why is this tho? What's the connection between time/date and the wifi/apps?
    Netflix worked fine even tho the wifi connection said "connected, no internet"

    Date fixed, wifi connected but not showing that wifi is connected.

      Did you fix it yet? Try disabling "Scanning Always Available" below WiFi settings.
