I'm a 22 year old independent woman. And I don't belong to any tribe. It's not that I don't want to but it's more like I'm unable to socialize. During my teenage years, which is the prime age to form groups and socialize, I had put all my focus on my career. It was completely worth it. But I still feel empty because I don't really have anywhere to belong to.
I was similar. Then i got a job which forced me to be social. It's like anything else, it takes practice. You have to learn how to interact with different types of people.
