As a new subscriber and someone who watched a lot of your videos recently, hope to see you back whenever you can make the time! Respect your profession a lot and completely understand the hours needed to be a great pilot, especially post-pandemic.
What a great story Emilie! You're such a fascinating person, you have an amazing life and career. Thank you for sharing your journeys and experiences with the world. It's such a joy to watch your videos!
I attend embry-riddle university in the fall to study aviation and eventually become a pilot. Your videos are so encouraging to me and makes me that more excited about my my future endeavors
Great to see you back in the skies again, Emilie! Happy flying! PS: This video definitely gave me a quick glance into the life of a regional pilot. Thanks for making it.
Thank you so much for this video! I have been highly considering taking up a career as a pilot and this video was very inspiring. Please make more like this! Very much enjoyed this!
No uploads any more ... happy to read "Just super busy flying again" ... and looking forward to see some day new videos about MSFS-hints for better flying and about the life as a pilot
Cool to see you at cottonwood island park! Forests for the World (on Cranbrook Hill) is also very nice. As is the walk along the nechako river from the hatchery to Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. You will see the winery across the river. If you land early enough in the day, take a drive out to Ancient Forest 1 hour east of PG. It's a breathtaking inland temperate rainforest. Great to see you flying again!
We used to call our YVR-YYJ-YVR legs "The only Trans-Pacific DC9 flights" in the world. ;-) A ton of fun - but always on the lookout for the constant VFR traffic in that busy region of the sky. Thanks for the reminiscences .... Thanks for posting. The Journey Continues ... ;-)
Hi Emilie. Retired military pilot here. Love flying and love living the commercial pilot experience through your videos. Keep ‘me coming! Safe flying 😊
Wow! You flew right over Tsawwassen, B.C. My mother grew up there. I’ve been to Victoria a couple of times, only we took the ferries. Greater Vancouver, B.C. is such beautiful country. Glad you’re back, Pilot Emilie! 🛫
You are so very talented, and I've learned so much about Piloting just from watching your videos. You're the best Captain. Keep up the good work my dear.
It would be great to have you back and make some more videos.Especially when you tried out MSFS that was fun.Hope to see you on here someday again with some awesome videos.Good luck on you’re career and keep going!!
Really enjoyed watching this Vlog video! That short flight to Victoria was fascinating. There were so many turns before reaching the destination. I guess flying in a straight line is just too easy :-) Hopefully the outlook for the industry can only improve as travel restrictions are finally getting lifted. Keep well!
Great to see you back...I missed you and your video updates.....I'm very happy you are doing and feeling well...Keep the updates coming Emilie, you make them so interesting.
I think the walk at YYJ actually helped you get through the day. If you walk just a little right (south?) of the airport there is a great view of the runway. There is also a little aerodive on the opposite side where you can pick up some food. Thank you for sharing-nice to see you back Captain.
as always the Troyer of truly wonderful video. I live in Pennsylvania in the United States and my wife and I made a trip to Victoria. It was truly a beautiful city. Most of all they sold so many different types of candy that were not available in the United States, got to love that Nestlé thanks for sharing
Hi Emilie. You really should feel proud of yourself. Great Women you are with lots of experiences and adventures. I love to watch them. Take care. ksss
Hey Pilot Emilie & Ninja!! SO AWESOME to see you guys again!! Just saw your updated content! Great to have more instruction from you. Thank you SO much!! SO FUNNY, just wrapping up my work day in Minnesota right now with my Lab McKenzie at my desk when I pulled up your information. My Pup (Kenzie) totally recognized your voice, prop noise and wanted to go flying with you on your video! It was cool to see. Not sure if it was your picture or our Midwest/ Canadian accent (Minnesotan too) that she recognized. Nevertheless, all the best and thanks for all that you provide. JF
Congratulations on getting back into the air! I can't tell for sure but, on the flight from Vancouver to Victoria, it looks like you passed into US airspace for a short time and flew near San Juan Island, Orcas Island, etc. I live about 80 miles south of the border as the crow flies, and flying out over the San Juan Islands is one of my favorite things to do. On a nice day, it's simply beautiful. And lots of neat airports out on the islands, like Friday Harbor airport, and Eastsound airport on Orcas Island.
So happy to see you flying!!!!!!! regional flights are very demending, lots of takeoffs and landings in a short period....nice to see you in action! and even almost running for your flight! fortunately you are in a great shape!
Great video! I prefer flying at night myself. Especially VFR, so much easier to spot traffic lol. Two of my friends just go their callbacks as FO at your airline so I'm hoping that's a sign you'll get the 4th stripe back soon!
Aw, I miss flying the mighty Q. But… I don’t miss being away from home so much and some of the other BS of airline life. The people are (mostly) awesome though. PM vs PF (pilot monitoring vs pilot flying): for us at least, PM actually worked way harder thatn PF. Haha! It’s also interesting, watching some of your other videos, to see the similarities yet differences in your ops of the Q (checklists, flows, etc.) Great stuff! Keep it coming!
Super impressed !! You are so intriguing & unique on so many levels that are intertwined beyond interesting. Every conversation with you would be an enlightening experience - have an awesome day...

From Ct., USA…I Fly in MSFS,….& I Will Duplicate Your Flights tonight in The SIM✈️,…You’re Very entertaining Emilie, Please Keep up the Inspiring VIDEOS…!!👍
I loved watching your flying and MS simulator videos Emilie, it looks like an exciting career. I wish you still had time for stimulator videos as I'm buying the program and a joystick for my desktop PC. When gas goes down I may just spring for flying lessons. Photography is my first love (not cheap) and I do spend a lot of time on Photoshop editing tutorials. Learning the MS simulator will add some variety to my life. Next month I'm photographing an air show in So CA which is always fun and educational.
Congratulations on getting back in the saddle!!! Looking forward to some EXCITING VIDEOS!!! THANKS for for doing your videos on flight simulators MSFS 2020..I am a longtime flight simmer (1980s msfs...) And you made me proud to see a professional Airline Pilot give the Simming comunity some respect!! ( It's NOT a video game:)... And I learned fly back in the 1970s ( PPL In 1979)...The Future belongs to the Brave! Thanks for being so positive in these trying times!! I love your videos!!! ❤...🐦
My son bought MSFS on XBox, so I got interested in how far they've come since I last played (2010). Anyway, I come across your videos and found them very informative! TY for sharing your knowledge and best wishes with your career!
Really cool to see the views from the flight deck, especially that landing and taxiing to the gate ! I'm just a flying enthusiast and the markings on the tarmac probably make more sense to you, but all the pathways and the rest of the traffic are interesting. Would like to see more like this and about how your trips are structured !
@_OfficialPilotemilie ok I’ve had a reply like this from another RUclips channel Emilie a while back, and the guy told me to ignore it as it was a hacker trying to scam some of his followers… so can you put me right here… cheers…
FlyJSim Dash 8 Q400 Q4xp out for simulator. Would love to see you give it a test run, or flight, if you have free time. Love the vids. Keep up the good work! :)
I work with ATS which is the company contracted with WestJet, and one day I was loading the plane and noticed you were there! I wanted to say hello but I got shy haha. I pushed your plane back and was so honoured :)
Have you ever seen Saint Elmo's fire? I saw it in a Cessna 177RG. It was amazing A blueish ring where the propeller was, blue flames coming off the wings and dad put his fingers close to the windscreen and blue flames came from his finger tips, like he was the Emperor.
I am so glad to see you back in the flight deck Emilie. If you didn't have hands you wouldn't be able to talk. Thanks for sharing your video with us. Ed
Hi Emilie, just wanted to say thanks for the videos throughout the year, always a pleasure to watch. Hope you and the family have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2022.
Thanks for sharing your latest video. It is really great to see that you are back in the air. You are so lucky having a front row seat to see Canada from such a unique perspective. And in the process playing a part in helping people travel around your country.
Geez. I would have gladly gave you a ride back to the terminal. I work near the tower in the big blue building. That is a Long walk all the way around!
