Field monitor support

It's getting more difficult to focus using the small LCD on my camera, so I decided to buy a cheapish field monitor to help. Now I have to say the new screen is terrific and focusing is a breeze. The only down side was the ball head attachment that came with the monitor, this was very flimsy and a new solution was needed.
So over a weekend I made a new support that is easy to adjust, suits my needs and is very sturdy. It's made from 6mm and 8mm aluminium sheet, painted with a satin epoxy finish. Bearing surfaces between the moving parts are made from the same plastic that was used under my router fence. This stuff is very durable but also slippery. I hope you enjoy this little project.
