This was a great realistic road trip with kids vlog!! Happy that overall it seemed to go pretty smoothly. I’ve watched that clip of Riley seeing your family on your IG story, tik tok and here and every time I’ve teared up! They’re reunion was so sweet💕

Love your videos girl, I feel your pain with the long road trips with babies haha. Could you do a vlog about how you discipline or calm your toddler? I have a 2 year old daughter as well with another girl on the way and we've been trying to find different methods of discipling her.

This is what I needed to see. I'll be living in Tennessee and my family lives in Florida. We did this trip once and it was absolutely miserable. We were stopping every 30 minutes. Of course my daughter was 8 months. Things could be different.

A tip for Riley's car sickness you can get a travel sickness band for her they are just like bracelets she need to wear in both hands they help a lot.

Hi from Germany!! I love your Vlogs! I just wanted to know wich Tablet and Tablet-Case you use for Riley because I have an 20 Months old toddler and when she use my Iphone for RUclips, she throws it away when she doesn't like a video ...I'm afraid that she will break it! Thank you and stay safe!
Woah it's crazy how it takes 14 hrs to drive to a state. Ireland is so small 😂 the longest it takes to drive from the top to the bottom is 5hrs!
I was thinking the same! 😅 I think driving to Dublin which takes 2.5 hours is so long!

And that is just Virginia to Florida. I think Florida to Ca if I am not mistaken is 2-3 days.
So what kind of car seat would you recommend for a 7-month-old because we are going on a 15 hour drive to Michigan in June to see my mom and my son is on a G tube so I have to give him gravity feeds I don't know how I'm going to do this.

my daughter drove from WA to San Fran last year with their 2 kids- also a 14 hr drive- they did it all in one straight drive.......
You can probably turn her car seat around to forward facing now that she’s 2 1/2 yrs. She might do better in the car. I know everyone has diff opinions on that but our toddler just turned 2 and he outgrew the length requirement for rear facing. Plus our pediatrician said he could be forward facing now.
Omg I was scrolling literally just to see if anyone else commented on this! Her legs look too long for the seat. Also riding backwards is probably why she got car sick

Good to see the two babes safely ensconced in their car seats quietly at the beginning of the trip anyway. Poor Riley having to listen to Jackson cry and not understand that he's OK, but needs to just move his larger muscles some. And her hair looks gorgeous even after riding in the car for hours. Who needs a poop explosion from Jackson when you had the good fortune of strawberry fountains from Riley? Hope that car seat is easy to clean well. There is no harm in telling Riley that the authorities of our country have told people to wear masks for safety from the nasty bug that kept everyone at home for a long time. Both babes look so much more relaxed on the beds at the hotel where they can move in whatever direction they want. Riley looked like she'd rather live with her grandparents, which is typical kid. And Jackson looked like "who are these people," even in his body language. LOL. I hope Jackson's sleep training doesn't get totally wiped out by the stay in Florida. Just wear masks and use hand-sanitizer and practice social-distancing. If you don't care about yourself, think of those you may harm and will never have to know their families buried them. We should all behave as though we have it and that will keep everyone safe. There are even way more cases in NY now of kids with the strange inflammatory disease cropping up after they have it. So, this is one nasty capricious killer virus. How many have to die for people to just do the right thing? Kayla, your face mask makes you look like you give a fig about others and health and wellness and social responsibility. No one cares anymore about the fashion statement. People are dying. People worldwide have been wearing face masks for decades when we have been fortunate enough to not get hit by the worst of many pandemics. We take a hit in this country and people, instead of worrying about one another, are carrying on about looking like robbers. Not anymore. People think you look rational and careful in most places with a mask on. It's the adult, good citizen thing to do. If it saves one life, isn't it worth it? When people are trying to practice behaviors that could save lives, why is any serious adult talking about not looking like a runway model on parade? Aren't you fortunate to be attractive enough that when the masks come off and the pandemic is conquered, you will go back to being an attractive person who can be pleased with herself when looking at her outsides in a mirror? You have good instincts that are part of the development of a good person on the inside, so don't allow what nature at random gave you on the outside to dominate what you've worked at and earned inside. Compliance is modelling good behavior for your children because this pandemic will recur over the next year or two and there will be others coming. The more the polar ice caps melt, God knows what contagions will be unleashed. But we won't be careful of the planet's health and spare ourselves that either. When did people stop believing those who know about medicine? Yet if their loved ones need medical help, they are pushing their way in line to be sure they get proper care - from whom, all those folks who don't know jack shit about what they are talking about after decades of research? By Jove, they want their expertise suddenly.
