When my kids were littler, our afternoon routine was to have a small snack then clean up the toys and clutter. Then they could have books and puzzles before dinner. Somehow, toys during the day, then more quiet things at the end of the day, worked for us. A family type show and movies usually ended up weekend time. Things slowly change as the kiddos get older... toy clutter turns into soccer and math practice 🤾♂️🍁📝

Your relationship with your mom reminds me so much of my relationship with my mom. My mom currently has moved in with me to help with my 17 month old after I had emergency back surgery. She’ll be here a few more weeks but I’m already dreading when she goes home (even though she lives like a mile away 7 months of the year 😂)

Thanks! We always put the pizza straight on the oven rack and then heat up the oven to 350. When the oven preheats to 350, we take it out. Nice and crispy! That’s a hack mema taught us ☺️
