Good evening Jaak hope you had an amazing day. Wow what a spectacular job and project. This is absolutely amazing I love it. This was the first video I've seen in almost 2 months since I had a second stroke in now under 2 years and it caused brain damage on the left side. How I've missed all your videos you have no idea how much I truly love to watch and see these amazing projects and ponds you build. Their so relaxing and inspiring to watch. Glad to be back home with my kids and husband doing better and being able to watch your videos and now to catch up on 2 months of videos I haven't been able to watch. Can't wait to see all the fantastic jobs you have done these last 2 months. Thanks for the awsome video Jaak and a hudge congratulations on hitting 60k subscribers aswell. Hope you have a fantastic week and I'll see you next video like always.

Definitely one of my favorite ponds you’ve done. It looks like they took advantage of a natural spring that broke the surface and they built the pond in the middle of it. Nice rock work throughout. I love that the deep end and the shallow end look as if you ran into ledge and kept it rather than breaking it out. Even though it was all man made, It’s as if the formal was built with respect around the natural and that’s why they fit so well together. Beautiful work!

    Hi Jaak.
    How are you Sir?
You and your team have done an outstanding job.
That Formal Recreational Pond is really splendid.
To be honest, I prefer a more natural looking Recreational Pond, however each to their own opinion.
The Part where you said you used to be able to do 9 hours and now 7 hours feels like an ass whooping, well I am afraid that is old age Sir, yet I am sure you still enjoy your job.

Would I do a formal style pond at my house....hmmmmm. Not a straight forward yes or no answer for me. I do love the straight smooth sides of the formal pond. Mostly I think that because the large rocks in the rec ponds make me so nervous. I think I would worry about someone getting seriously hurt on one of those. Especially if they weren't familiar with the pond itself. Rambunctious kids, perhaps intoxicated adults..... The times I have seen Greg or a few others flip into one, I wince, badly! So yes, for my stress level, I would put one in. However, I don't think a formal pond would fit with just any house either, so I think that could be a factor. I still prefer the look of nature to the formal look, so no, I don't think I would. BUT this feature is gorgeous, with enough of both formal and nature to make it fit very well on this property. Now in regards to Alan, in every video I see with him on a job, he is just a busy bee working away. On video, he seems to have endless energy and obviously has a positive attitude! And Jaak, if you weren't hurting from this job........I mean have you seen the size of those boulders! LOL. I hope you both were able to go home a relax some after this job. Well done!

I’m a sucker for the natural-looking pond, but this looks incredible! The amount that it matured in just a few months is fantastic!
Quick question: when you were laying down the cobble in the wetland, it looked like you used various sizes of cobble on the first layer alone (4” or so to the left, 2” to the right), instead of keeping each layer uniform and gradually decreasing the size as you go up. Was there a bioengineering reason for that with this particular pond, or were you just using what you could get?
