I always see posts online implying that it’s useless to learn to skate if you aren’t a kid, but man just seeing how you guys tear up the skate park motivates me so much! This is such a sick video especially when the one person did a mid air shuvit? I love these videos and used to watch you years back when I dreamed of skating and I’m so happy I’ve finally picked it up (my goal is to be able to do a board slide into another trick)
I started again at 29, I'm 33 now and skate everyday. My experience has been that your progression may not be as quick as when you're a kid, but you WILL progress as an adult newbie. The journey has been super fun and rewarding, so stick with it!

But I stopped for a long time as college and such got the best of me. But I never lost that passion or drive to pick up the board and skate. It's a burn that never go's away. So do you and keep on skating never to old bro. You'll get to your goals as you practice. I've now got to do the same with losing weight and even just general balance on my board again lol but soon will all be skaing together :D

Pause at 1:03 . The holes are to guage your foot placement on the edge of your board. The holes start in an arrow shape, so you know where the center of the toes of your shoes are facing, and the holes become more and more of an arch shape. This pattern helps you gauge your foot placement. Crazy! I would like to see bigger holes with a wider spacing for this pattern on a skate shoe. Someone please make em'!
