At my request, my wife got me a bidet for christmas...it was one of the $35 valve with a nozzle types and we both fell in love with using bidets. I just ordered an Alpha JX to replace the basic model. I'm thinking I might sneak the basic one into the bathroom at my work.
Your video is very well done! I just returned from a tour of France and England but never came across a bidet - I wish I had! I would love to try one, especially one like you showed with they dryer feature. Right now $500 is out of my reach for this upgrade. I will add that Bidets with out a drying feature kind of defeat part of the purpose of cutting down on toilet paper usage- I can't imagine wanting to drip dry! Thanks again for the great video!

My hubby has rods in his one wrist and that hand doesn’t rotate (so TP with that hand isn’t an option). He has surgery coming up on the other hand and won’t be able to use it at all. I know he won’t be receptive of the idea of a bidet, but I think after he uses one he will appreciate it.

Great video review! I've been researching bidet options for the past several weeks and came across the Alpha JX in a written "best bidets of 2020" online review. The write up was well done, but I wanted at least one other independent review--so thanks! I lived in Asia (i.e., South Korea and Japan) for several years and regularly vacation in Thailand where bidets are everywhere.
In fact, one of the most refreshing experiences with a toilet and bidet was in a Tokyo airport---I felt like I left cleaner than I came in!!! I'm definitely getting one for my master bathroom; and after your review, I'm pretty sure I'll be going for the Alpha JX.

I watched this video while sitting on my Alpha JX. I was the type of guy that would use a 1/4 roll of paper each time. (Had to be certain that we got an "all clear"). I did loads of research before my purchase and can tell you this one is great.

Dude I'd really recommend you get a filter for the toilet, if you don't the bidet my back up plus its hygienically better
I've researched these for quite some time & to this day I still say there's a problem that getting rid of some type of wipes create when having this. Power Outage. Our Transformer blew in our street caught fire & we were all in the dark. Not cool to have one of these and you've just finished #2 & out goes the power. Yipes.
I am wrapping up a MAJOR remodel of my bath/shower/toilet. As super deluxe as I can get it! And that includes a bidet seat. I have used one in the past, and in comparison, it makes every other cleaning method seem "unclean". Get one!

yes, in Brasil it's like a kitchen sprayer. no need for front and back, just aim and spray. Also, less than 20 bucks. No need for warm water here.

I have one and love it but it is no were as expensive as this one. I have purchased and install on my Mother and Fathers as well as in my homes. Yes I used in Europe but never seen one in Asia. The Asia water came from a scoop out of a barrel and then used to flush the rest down the drain.
these type of stuff are quite common in japan. but i never tried it cuz i am scared lol.

There are basic models on amazon for like $35. A jet of cool water on the hull will wash the barnacles right off.

How much did the electrician charge you to put in the outlet?
I used amazon Installation Services for a $700 Brondell, and it was like $285 for the Bidet install and outlet installation.
