You are very clever for repositioning the mounting bracket! Most people complain the seat doesn't fit properly but you overcame the challenge. Excellent!
Bidets are becoming more popular here in the United States after the toilet paper shortages in 2020 it convinced a lot of people here to try it, and once you get used to your bidet, I doubt you’ll want to go back to just wiping alone. If you feel a little weird about trying a bidet yourself, consider this question: Is there anything wrong with washing your face? How about your hands? Why treat your bathroom hygiene any differently? I would love to know what you guys think in the comments. 💚
Thank you Rose. Your video is the only one to mention how to adjust the bracket if the seat is too short for your toilet! I had to figure this out on my own, but hopefully, your video will help others with the same problem :)
You don't need to flip the bracket. You just need to loosen the bolts slide the "adjustable" brackets so that they are in a position allowing you to mount the toilet flush. This is the reason the tracks have locking grooves along the entire travel range. Just lock in the brackets at the correct spacing for your toilet.
I just installed mine today. Easy. Well kinda, because the issue I have is my own. I can't figure out why I'm still getting a small drip. One thing may be the water valve may have gotten stripped. Until I get around to it I'm just going to wrap that area with that stretchable tape I saw on RUclips. Plumbers swear by it
I love my new bidet. It looks very clean and classy. Only issue I will be seeing is it will definitely show any marks. Upon mounting it I simply placed a plastic tote on it and already it scratched. I will have to be careful. I also had to adjust it more forward which actually makes the seat a little forward which isn't the best fit. I had to do that because me being a male I would have to hold the seat up as I go. I may see if I can replace the toilet handle because I feel thats what makes it not stay up. But this is nothing to do with the functionality of the seat. It's an issue my certain toilet is causing.
Thanks Rose. I agree on the adjustment comment. That was a great tip. I was getting there but seeing your tutorial was the final piece that made it work for me. Thanks Again.
excellent video. i installed the bidet but the water is directed into the toilet bowl, not up. also, the nozzles don't extend out. what am i doing wrong??
I had the same problem. When I contacted the company they were very friendly and sent me a knew control. My problem is as I get older I am having difficulty turning the round control. I wish they had a different shape.
Hey Rose - thank you for this video! Have you ever noticed any leaking around the T-valve connection? I noticed my brondell swash bidet leaks a lot around that area and not sure why. It’s not a constant leak, but happens every other day or so and leaks a good bit.
After having this seat installed for 3 months I can't say iam so happy with it. It msy mot be the seat itself. I had to use the secondary screw pattern on the mounting plate. I had toturn the bracket so the seat is more forward. This had to be done in order for the seat to stay open when the male gender has to use it. The toilets top to the toilet bowl sits too far forward now. I believe with the beacket firward, the jets point differently and the male gets hif family jewels soaked. Hense there is more toilet paper used. For this I rate the seat a 3 out of 10
Just bought one and installed it. Water flying everywhere . I need training. I think there's a learning curve .maybe I'm sitting in the wrong place. HELP
my house of 40 years has had a bidet that was next to the toilet and then i bought a smaller home and not having a bidet really freaked me out so i bought a Brondell Bidet seat that was 400 dollars and it lasted only 3 years so i am now going to buy this non electric one and that should be trouble free , btw i don't know why in America people are all goofy childish about bidets and i am waiting for the republicans to start a war over them
I bought one and bought the electric model did not like the electric one wast of money lots of gimmick on the electric one. I like the 191 non electric one works the nuts I dry my ass with a small wall mount hair dryer works very well
This product would be great but it’s actually terrible. The “self cleaning” feature only manages to splash poop water when you try to use the front or back…terrible design. Great video and instructions nonetheless

Ill have to give this a try.

I appreciate your feedback, Laurie. I'm glad it was helpful!

Thank you for pointing out the release button!!
The installation guide does not mention it and I was going crazy trying to remove the seat.
Thank you. I showed your video to my human, then he bought that exact same model.
Thank you so much, Rose, for making this so simple and easy to follow along with you! I didn't even need the instructions. 🙂
Thank you, that was very helpful to know there is a release button, you rock!
I'm glad it was helpful!
I bought the brondell. Its fantastic. Great quality.
works well and great instructions- I had no issues and the bidet does the job well
I just ordered 3 Bidet’s and found your video one of the best. I didn’t buy your bran so I hope mine goes on just as easily. Thanks

Hi Rose, They provide two washers but it appears that you only need one, am I correct? Did you use plumbers tape at the joints? Thanks, Julie
That’s what I’m trying to see
I would recommend putting white sealing plumber tape on every bolts to make sure it doesn't leak. Other than that, good job
Great video. Straight to the point and thorough. I appreciate you.
So If you connect to the cold water that goes to the tank, that means that only cold water will come out from the bidet, right?
I love the bidet toilet seats, much better than those bidet attachment. Brondell seems like a great company, will have to look into them.
Yes, absolutely. It's game changing.
excellent video. i installed the bidet but the water is directed into the toilet bowl, not up. also, the nozzles don't extend out. what am i doing wrong??
THANK YOU! I was trying to find how to remove the seat so I could adjust it.
You're very welcome! Glad I could help.
Hi Rose,my mom has one installed, but the knob broke ,any ideas? can it be replaced?
I’ve been reading about this. Not sure if I want to buy it if the knob is going to break. Did she ever find a fix for it?
I had the same problem. When I contacted the company they were very friendly and sent me a knew control. My problem is as I get older I am having difficulty turning the round control. I wish they had a different shape.

What if the nozzles aren’t coming out?
I am very intererested in this one, but could anyone please tell me if the water sprayed out really cold for your pump?
Thank you so much! This video helped me tremendously. 🙏🏼
This was so much help!! Thank you! Do forget to put the washer into the valve like I did! Lol

Hello Rose! Nice video and informative. Where can we contact you for collaborations?
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
How do you get dry?
I'm using paper towels LOL. This thing soaks me. I must need training , you still need toilet paper to dry off with
Thanks so much!
Just bought one and installed it. Water flying everywhere . I need training. I think there's a learning curve .maybe I'm sitting in the wrong place. HELP
Hello Dear Friend!😊
And now your kity will be always clean.
I think my toilet is too long ...or something even after adjusting it hmmm
Brondell is an awful company to deal with.. I was sold a defective Swash 1700 and Brondell expected us to pay for the parts. Terrible to deal with.

What?! Are you low on oxygen? I'm a Republican and I own a bidet. Don't be so nasty
Did the Republicans start the war? Apparently not. I expect the Dems will outlaw bidets soon due to climate change.
FJB
But you still have to use paper toilet to wipe your booty because now it is all wet.
Can you show us how to use it?
I bought one and bought the electric model did not like the electric one wast of money lots of gimmick on the electric one. I like the 191 non electric one works the nuts I dry my ass with a small wall mount hair dryer works very well
Non electric, so cold as fucking ice?
Would love to watch her using it 🤤
