Think how long can take to cover 10 meters for a swimmer in a body of water, even swimming at very low pace, 10 meters are covered in a handful of seconds. 10 meters per hours is the avarage speed of a snail.
You know what's the problem with all those fancy gadgets? The price tag. For 20K I will buy a 3-y.o. Wolkswagen Touran, no brainer, diesel-powered manual transmission. And, it can drive like 600 miles on one tank, it can take 7 people or 1 tonn of payload, you can practically live in it.
15K euros for the Triggo - the one going 90 miles max, speed up to 85 mph? Means it can run 1 hour before it stops dead. What is it good for? And, knowing the spec of Tesla and other EVs vs the promisses of the companies, we can safely substract third out of its range and speed.

Do most of the things they're touting in the Triggo piece, in America, you'll be arrested and your vehicle, impounded. Travel between cars? park between parallel-parked cars. With the latter, you're libel to be shot! What a stupid vehicle! The monotrac looks like fun - but not at highway speeds. I'd hate to think what your leg is going to look like in a highway spill. The track is going to be still spinning at highway speed as it eats your leg in two. I cant comment on the electric skateboard, as I don't use skateboards. I've also been harassed by irresponsible skateboarders. I love the design of the three wheeled car that comes next - only one downside: its electric. Ultimately, electric vehicles are a boondoggle. You have to consider how long it takes to charge them, the fact it's more expensive than gas-powered engines, what creates the power its charged with (gas/oil/coal/nuclear - wind is not a real part of the grid and kills migrating winged animals and hydropower is rare and under attack for changing river ecology) I'll NEVER buy electric as they are currently designed. Oh! And they catch on fire and burn practically like magnesium powder! Don't get them wet, but don't keep them in a garage... and if it gets cold, they will fail to hold a charge and you will die horribly from exposure when your heat fails, too. The speed bike is kind cool, but impractical for everyday use as you seem to need a team to stabilize it as you get up to speed and to stop it. skates are cute but also impractical. the unicycle is a Darwin Award, waiting to happen. I like the waterbike The zuum shoes aren't bad either. They don't pretend to be the next moped - which wasn't that great an idea, either. I like the concept of the flight board.
