    I learn something from every video of yours I watch. Been doing gravy wrong all my life. Thanks for the explication on not flouring your meat. Dinner tonight is going to be biscuits and gravy ala Texas Cooking. I use White Lily Self rising flour and the recipe is similar but just a little different... so I will be trying yours I hopes that using the self rising flour and no baking powder wont change it by much... LOL no time to go to the store. Thanks!

      The gravy turned out better than I had even hoped! We did miss the undertones of the chicken stock (home made only) that I mix with the milk... but the half and half provided a mouth feel that was great as well as a heartier meal. Thanks for teaching an old dog new tricks. The biscuits is where I always thought I struggled and so I made your version using the lard as well as the chilled butter. I also used the White Lily self rising flour and I used butter milk....because I couldn't make myself not use it. ( born southern ) Bingo better biscuits as well.
