Oh Michelle ! Those bonnets, wow!! I have only found one scotch bonnet in my life and I framed it, lol. I found it in SWF at Blind Pass. They are so hard to find. You found a nice little haul. Can't wait for the next in this series!😊
RIGHT?!? at Fort Desoto too of all places - seriously tough shell to get in this area for sure! And Pass a Grille and Sunset beach were just knock outta the park shelling that same day too - unbelievable how much was out there. I can't wait to finish editing those and share them as well - holy smokes sunset beach was literally like being at Dickmans on a good day everywhere we turned we saw good stuff and we barely had to go up the beach - one of those days you dream about lol! that 2 days was a whirlwind and we have been shelling a couple more times since then too. got another video coming soon after the FINN series that's going to be a live critter encounter extravaganza with good shells found too :D El Nino shelling this year here has been amazing :)
Oh man did it ever! Sheesh! We had layered up that morning and desoto wasn't bad but by the time we got to PAG that wind was screaming - cut right through! and then after desoto and PAG we ALSO went to Sunset beach and had THE most insane shelling there OMG i can't wait to share those 2 vids - holy guacamole shells at both places it was an unbelievable couple days!
Watched another video of a man looking for shells he takes the battered lightening wells if it still has the top, puts something on the bottom and the puts them in a vase calls them roses.
that's cool! Someone besides me likes the broken ones! I belong to the shell club in Sarasota and one of the gals there made the coolest flowers out of the insides of broken tulips and fighting conchs - super cool :D there is so much beauty to be unlocked even in something that looks like nothing... :D
