- It’s Singapore’s most medalled sport that almost no one’s ever heard of! @BenjaminKhengMusic dives into Singapore’s Underwater Hockey scene, with two weeks to learn the ropes from members of the Stirling Underwater Hockey Club.
Having swept all available gold medals at the 2019 SEA Games, the Singapore Underwater Hockey team was going from strength to strength, until the pandemic forced a hiatus. Now that they are back to training, the Stirling Underwater Hockey Club has found itself a new recruit, musician and former national youth swimmer, Benjamin Kheng!
Dropping into the deep end, Benjamin will have just two weeks to pick up the sport before his first ever match. Will he sink or swim?

You did it really well, Benjamin👍! Wow, all the swimming pools in your video are so clean and clear! I really need to go to Singapore and try it out one day🤩!
Thanks for the great video!! It is really informative and entertaining!!
Thank you for documenting this part of Singapore Sports History! Hope underwater hockey gets more support in the years to come!
I've been a fan of Singapore men's national water polo team I hope you could feature them!
You didn't mention it is a gentle non-contact sport :)
I saw a familiar face, hi Hitomi San!
18:16 is what you came for.
Shiong ahh...
What a boring sport.
Ya like your life
This is quite a beginner perspective on the sport. It definitely gets way more interesting when it gets to regional and international level of play. 2:14 is an example of SEA Games which is an example of an international competition, however the top level of Underwater Hockey is usually found in CMAS World Championships.
Cant swim that's why boring for u
