Great video! I live north of Nashville and I avoid it like the plague. Grew up there. I appreciate your tour to see how the city has and hasn’t changed. And, that my dear is NOT busy for broadway at all. Glad you got there early and didn’t have to see it lol

@AngBonaTV I lived in Nashville in the mid to late 90’s and Printers Alley was a Red Light District. When the Titans moved in to Nashville the city cleaned up to make the entertainment district more family friendly. I was dared to go walk down the alley and I made 3/4 way down and ran out. That freaked me out!!

I’m a Nashville native born and raised in the heart of the City since the 1950s. Nashville was very clean back then with ALL the shopping Down Town ,with ‘Harvey’s- Cain Sloan- Wool Worth‘ to name a few, with 5 or 6 Old World Movie Theaters. Nashville was wonderful back then, rarely any crime nor homelessness. We spent our weekends shopping, music and an occasional Movie.
… Nashville remained clean and fun with most its Music on Broad Street , 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Avenues and And of course The Ryman Auditorium. -
Printers Alley Is live Music Bars, where talented people come to Nashville to sing and play for free, in little beer bars, from all over this Country in hopes their music would be discovered in the Country Music Industry. Nashville was a clean City, until The NFL Stadium was built in the 1990s and first know as “The Tennessee Oilers” until they made their name “Tennessee Titans.” … It’s become too commercial and noisy, to me now days, although it remains my beloved home. 🤍
Don’t forget to see The Parthenon , build in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial exposition, it is a replica of The Original Parthenon in Athens Greece ,it’s known for it’s beautiful Architecture, and culture.

The Christmas bombing still breaks my heart. I was born and raised here, and this area of the city was my absolute favorite. It used to be just as hopping with tourists as Broadway, but you could find locals there more often than in other parts of town. My grandmother was a telephone operator for Bellsouth during WWII and worked in the building that was targeted by the terrorist. :( I really, really miss the businesses that used to be there. I haven't driven through since it happened. Damn. I'm crying again, and it's been years. :(

I’m a Nashville Native born in the early 1950s. It was a classy lively little City back then with Nashville’s major shopping and Old World Theaters in the heart of Downtown, before there were Malls. A time where its country and western bars were much classier and simpler. Times were much simpler. Printers Alley is a place where unknown talent go to play their country music for free, in hopes they might be discovered. …Don’t forget to see The Parthenon at Centennial Park, built in 1897 for the centennial exposition. I think it was Printers Alley .I know it was downtown and right when they had been building the stadium in 97. They especially wanted to clean up the city due to the few pew pews of young women and the ones who went missing near the fair grounds

I’m fairly sure those exists in most towns and can be found if looking. …Printers Alley is not a red light district , it’s just well known for bar after bar with good country music. I’ve never feared going there for music and drinks. It’s also well policed, especially since the 2020 bombing. 😢…
