I've been watching a few of the videos where people visit Nashville, and I must say that I think you guys showed more & gave more good info for anyone coming to visit. I'm born & raised there in 'Woodbine' which is about 5 minutes from downtown. Unfortunately, I had to move just outside of Nashville to get away from the traffic. And I miss it terribly. Thank you for your video, I very much enjoyed it!
Thank you very much for the compliment! We love traveling and our goal is to just show people what there is to do and hopefully help a little when they are deciding where to go. Nashville was a huge surprise for us, it was probably the most lively city we’ve been to and the people are great! We are from the south so it’s nice to see the southern charm and food everywhere in Nashville haha. It’s a great city and you’re lucky to live nearby….it’s a city we will visit again for sure. Thanks for watching our videos 😊
They have a different vibe. NOLA is very historical and has Cajun/Creole food. Nashville is more party scene and has a Southern Food scene. They are both amazing places however be warned, crime in NOLA is very high and if you leave your car parked don’t leave anything valuable inside.
Thanks. We've been to Nola dozens of times & love the food & music. Sorry to hear about your car. We were there last year during Mardi Gras & we were extra vigilant. Looking forward to Nashville.
You will love Nashville!! There is a lot to see and do. We do recommend taking the Old Town Trolley as a great way to get your bearings early. You will love the city, also try the Nashville Hot Chicken from Hattie Bs….we hope you have a great time
Wow thank you very very much for the compliment. We both work full time, and travel as a hobby, we want to go to Arizona and see as much as possible. It’s a beautiful state and it’s been on our radar for a few years….however we travel when we have time off work and hopefully soon AZ will be a possibility. And as far as the page goes, it makes us very happy to hear folks enjoy the videos, it takes a lot of time to create them….and feels good when someone appreciates them 😊.
It’s a scam that started in New Orleans, ppl will ask bet I know where you got your shoes and if you play or bet, they will say on your feet and haggle you until you pay what ever amount you bet them.
Loved the video, very informative! I’m debating between Nashville or New Orleans for my next trip. I noticed you mention you liked Nashville better, do you guys have a video for New Orleans?
We have been to New Orleans and we love it . However be warned that crime is very high there and we actually went to New Orleans before Nashville and our car was broken into. We parked in a $40/day parking with security and they hit about 15-20 cars in that lot on the same night. New Orleans is beautiful and has amazing history and food, but the crime is getting bad there. Nashville felt more safe to walk around but they both are great cities, just be careful and if you drive your personal vehicle leave it unlocked and empty inside haha. We do have a New Orleans video but with our work schedules we haven’t finished it yet. We went to N.O. 6 years ago and it was a much better experience, so in summary if you go to any big city you have to be smart. Crime is always a concern when traveling. Nashville and NO are both wonderful but if the police could control crime better I’d say NO is a more fun city specifically the French Quarter. Nashville is like country Las Vegas, and has a lot to offer….New Orleans is historical, with jazz music and creole food….you can just feel the history in the French quarter. I hope that helps 😊
#1 FIRST THING to DO Stop in at Sam's Clothing and Get a Cowboy hat at the Lowest Price in Nashville 227 Rep John Lewis N (formerly 5th Ave) Downtown Nashville next to historic Woolworth Theater across from walgreen's just a Couple Blocks off Broadway ... Tell 'em the Bossman sent ya!
The parks have free parking but if you’re in the city we did notice paid parking. We had our personal vehicle, stayed by the airport (about 15 min from downtown) and used uber to get around to avoid looking for parking and paying for parking.
So I was surounded by water down there for 3 solid days. One body fished out of my fishing hole west of town. The second one at the apartment a mile from south precinct. The flood drove me out. And I loved that Southern Town. I learned the best parts of my guitar those 6 years I was there. The Civil war was not so devicive, Morons are exclusive of the truth. Thats how every Empire Falls.
So sorry to hear about that, that is terrible, I’ve personally never been through a flood I can’t even imagine what it is like. Nashville is an awesome city with a lot of soul to it. If you lived there I’m sure you must miss it.
@@MarkandRad I haven't moved to Nashville I grew up here and ya I've seen things in real life and I've seen things to where I don't wanna go down there without my gun and some buddies. Lol. Buuutttt that's not to shy away the fact that Nashville is a great place to vibe with and experience fun. Just gotta watch your back sometimes becuase either someone is to drunk and want to start a problem or you look at someone the wrong way or they think that way you'll find yourself in a bad luck.
Good to know haha, we have learned every city has its issues but you are right you have to always be aware of your surroundings and stick to well traveled areas. If you find yourself alone walking down a road it’s never a great idea. But man your city has such a cool vibe! We loved visiting and will definitely go back.
Thanks haha! We loved Nashville, it’s a very unique place. We use to live in a tourist area and we know the love hate with tourists. We try to be the good tourists 🙂
Nashville Tennessee ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Beautiful foreign cities, wonderful
Thank you! It’s an amazing city for sure
Good video, I will be there next weekend, I can't wait!!
Thank you! I hope you have a great time. It’s a fun city and pretty much endless amount of things to do.

what does it mean when someone asks you where you got your shoes?? I’ve never heard of this haha

"Where did you get your shoes from?" "Out of your rear if you don't get out of my face" is a proper response!
Hahaha! I should have said that….maybe next time 😂

Haha if we had known about it we would have done it….i will surely do this next time we visit. Thanks
do the free attractions have free parking?

I noticed the dispensary lol. I thought marijuana was illegal in TN lol
I thought so as well but they had these little shops/trucks set up everywhere down town.
What does it mean when they ask about shoe? Lol
It’s some thing I heard about in New Orleans, they hassle you for money.

Very beautiful woman!
Thank you!
Nashville is safe until you live here for about a week 😂😂
Haha, really? Sounds like there’s a story behind this comment 😂
