i just thought i tell yall that if you all wanted to yall could have walked to check out FISK UNIVERSITY AND TENNESSEE STATE its not that far !!!! from some parts where you all were !!!!!! glad you had FUN !!!!!! that"s NASHVILLE !!!!! yall come back you hear ! smile.

Tip for lower share ride prices--take a hotel shuttle off the airport site & get the ride share from that location. You can save the airport surcharge for the small price of a tip for the hotel shuttle driver.
Also, there are 4 HBCUs in town. Pretty campuses free to see & check out Buchanan St for the original Slim & Husky's along with many other Black owned small businesses. Meat & 3 at Silver Sands (see article in Southern Living) Tuesday-Sunday closed on Saturday & Monday for delicious soul food. You will not leave hungry.
I love the idea of taking a hotel shuttle off-site and then getting a ride share!! Thank you for all these suggestions. I will definitely check them out next time I'm in Nashville!!

One other thing. In Nashville the weather is never what is forecasted. Lol... It's Never too extreme, but you could find an ice storm or tornado out of nowhere certain years

Come back to Nashville for the Music City Freedom Festival in 2025 or Tennessee State University’s homecoming. And also do a tour with Soul of America tours.

Nashville is not a place you wanna go on a budget. Boots are $500. Eating, Cocktails, NFL Game, etc. But have fun yall!!
It's just to show people that you can visit a place and don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself. But I agree that if you want to have awesome dinners, drinks, and go to special events, it will cost more than $100 for sure.
Nashville is no longer the Nashville people grew up with here. It's a money making situation gouging tourists.

@time2chill121 you have any good places that I should visit next time I'm there? I enjoy the 5th and Broadway area but I know it's so much more to Nashville than that.
Most of us locals stay away from downtown due to tourists and prices. So $100 would last you a weekend here if you know where to go 😂

$80 😬 for a bag...I would prefer to see it the other way around $80 for me to fly $10 for my bag. Reading it would just make me feel better 🤣🤣 even though it would be the same thing
