Roberu Nightmea fans : *"We see this as an absolute win!"* Mea's fantasy is too wild lol. I'd like to see getting pampered by Mea though 👀 Poor winning son, always winning. Maimoto please save your fellow bros xD
I was stupid enough to think that Mea woyld shy away from that topic since it would be too suggestive, but...yeah, we'll slurp up all roberunightmea contents
@@RykenInverse oh lol, I'm a native English speaker too. But yeah, I don't think "pamper" really fits 甘やかす either, because "pamper" sounds like a pretty positive thing, while 甘やかす has negative undertones, kind of like "spoiling" a child or something. The problem with using passives for 甘える is that it somewhat deprives the subject of agency. "Let his partner pamper him" is a little better but it still sounds like something someone else is doing to Roberu, while 甘える sounds firmly like an action Roberu is taking. So yeah, it's a tough one to translate for sure.
@@flamingspinach Well damn, who'd have thunk! Nihongo jouzu, ha ha. Yeah, it's far from a one to one match, though I'd say "pamper" would sound negative to me if it was done for anyone who's not a child, injured, or otherwise unable to take care of themselves. And yeah, passive vs. active definitely changes the feeling. I thought about using other words like "depend on" or "rely on" but I feel like those stray even further from the tone here, so... yeah. Gotta love translation, right?
Choice B is 恋人には甘えてそう, it means the opposite of what you translated it as - it means someone who is most likely to rely on and expect their partner to pamper them, not who is most likely to pamper their partner. At 2:58 it's also backwards, she's saying that Roberu will want to be babied by his partner and act like a baby, not pamper them like a baby. But at 3:25 you did get it right that she's saying Ui-mama acts like she's being pampered (not doing the pampering herself).
What I find the most funny sh*t is that Ui and Tamaki somehow formed an Alliance through their shared interest in shipping Roberu NightMea. 🤣
roberu's round was also quite shocking...she read that man like a book.

I'm seriously gonna make my kids watch every RoberuNightMea clips available on the planet 😆
Just don't let your kid mimic Mea, the least worse thing your kid will learn is not bathing for weeks
What you gonna do when they ask for more and you've ran out of them
This is peak entertainment ngl
Roberu constantly winning, even in Mea's own fantasies
Poor Roberu our winning son 😂
Ui will roast the hell out of the partner just for breathing in close vicinity to her

The fact that the girls and Tamaki (y’all get what I mean) picked Roberu as the pampering type suggests things lmao sasuga winning son
