You probably already know this since you posted this 9 months ago but for anyone else reading no it does not if anything its good for your turbo system to release the air into the atmosphere instead of back into the system. Releasing the pressure can prevent turbo leaks.

What’s up man and the car it was installed on is an auto and sounded good. The exhaust currently on the car is stock.

@Italian81 yes it is. It's the stock active exhaust. Look it up. I have it. It's go servos that lets you select quiet, normal, sport and track.
