What do you think of turkish twist damascus?
Amazing. Could you perhaps do an Arabic dagger 🗡️. Pretty sure you’ll perfect it
Absolutely love it!
It looks great! Definitely something that I’ll be attempting .
Dude! This is beautiful. I think it's my favourite pattern of all the Damascus you have made. I love the flow in the design.
That pattern is gorgeous!
I'm a Turk, It's an honor to see other nations are interest in our culture and i have to say your work is a masterpiece for sure
Thanks for taking a look!
Tanrı Türk ü akpden kurtarsın artık ya
Beautiful knife. I really appreciate you talking about your "mistakes" and changes in your design for it during the process.
Too many people talk about their work like everything always goes exactly how they intended it to from the start. Anyone who has done any type of craft work knows that's not how things really go.
These are just a series of problems to solve. They almost never go exactly as planned. Thanks for watching, Keith!
A very beautiful dagger, it is obvious at first glance that it really requires a good craftsmanship. Love from Turkey
Thanks for checking it out!
That's pretty slick use of that wrist breaker, right angle Milwaukee drill.
I’ve done a video on how to build these. You can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/x2COKmDjGnQ/видео.html. Thanks for watching.
Absolute beaut of a knife. She didn't come easy but you stayed with it and got something great out of that hard work.
Yeah, this one has its fair share of issues! Thanks for watching, Nicholas.
I very much enjoyed this build. I like how you found new meaning for that fourth piece of steel in the hand guard. The materials came together, very very well in this knife, and I know you wanted to use gold, but I knew when you held all the pieces together, that silver was the perfect match for this particular knife.
I appreciate your way of filming. I like the fast motion. I also appreciate that your short sweet to the point with comments, It leaves more attention to watch your skill. Thank you.
I’m glad you like the flow of the video. Thanks for watching!
I put in my comment before the end of the video, but I have to stop and say, after seeing the finished knife that domestic pattern is spot on beautiful, you nailed it! You’re very good at moving with the punches. Three times you brought it back on course. Definitely a knife you could put your makers mark on. Thanks for another beautiful gorgeous fighter.
Thanks for checking out this build. ❤️
An idea for highlighting/pinstriping, let’s look at the ordinary highlighted pommel, the highlight would in circle the pommel like a belt, what if you used dots alternatively?
Idea: In your Damascus steel, is it possible to incorporate Not just one highlighted layer but let’s say three? I’m thinking gold, copper, and I think silver closest to the knife edge?
@@Webby123yes, all this is possible. Maybe in a future build.
YOU are the BEST knife Maker on RUclips !!!! ( infact You're the best
knife Maker I've ever seen )
Thanks so much, John! I appreciate you watching!
@@TyrellKnifeworks You're welcome ( My knife is in the mail , right ?) !!!!
The results were well worth your efforts. A spectacular blade by an extremely talented smith! Well done!
Thanks so much, Ralph! I appreciate you checking it out!
As a Turkish: Incredible art ... Good job.
Thanks for taking a look!
I like it very much, this style of knife is very valuable in Turkey.
Thanks for taking a look!
Awesome build, Denis! It came out really nice, especially since you were 'shooting from the hip, on the design! Normally, I'm not a fan of that type of guard, but I think it works well, on this knife. Thanks for sharing my brother! 😎👍🏻🔨🔥🔪
Thanks for checking out this build, Bob!
You are a creative follower from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia🇸🇦🇸🇦
Thanks for watching!
I love this man and am definitely gonna recruit him to my colony after the world ends.
Let me know where you're at when the zombies come. 😜. Thanks for watching!
Really appreciate that you include "simple" mistakes like forgetting to change the drill direction. I think it really adds to the idea of craftmanship as a constant process, not just a finished skill.
As someone who can nothing on metalwork, why don't you go straight to the surface grinder when removing the grooves from the twist? Less control of material removal?
I always say, these are a series of problems to solve. As for the surface grinder, I was taking off the majority of the scale first so it “stuck” well to the magnets. Thanks for watching.
Am I glad I found you, you do amazing work
Welcome to the channel! Thanks for watching.
I absolutely love it 😀 you did an absolute banger of a job..once again did not disappoint my friend..God bless you 🙏 ❤ Thanks again for the wonderful in depth content.
Thanks so much, Robert! I appreciate you checking it out!
A beautiful work of art, as always. I'm impressed. Turkish twist, I think, is one of my favorites.
Thanks for checking it out! It’s a challenging pattern for sure.
Turks have interesting weapons.
Love your videos!! Just what I need on a stressful day!! I can watch these videos and the stress melts away, thank you! I hoping in the near future to get into knife making!!
Give it a try! Thanks for watching.
Amazing build! Gorgeous work! I think that was interesting with the front spacer. It looks epic how it turned out!
Thanks so much! I was a bit upset about the silver in the spacer when it happened but I think it turned out better after all.
I'm a Turk. I appreciate your outstanding work. We have an old saying... Don't let your hands be troubled
Thanks for taking a look at this build!
I really love the long videos. Beautiful work as always.
Thanks for taking a look!
Funny this came up today, as I welded up 4 small stacks last night, to make some Turkish twist today… thanks for the tips👍
The key is don’t forge it too thin, you need to grind into it and test etch to get the “stars”. Thanhs for watching and good luck!
That Damascus turned out incredible. The whole build, really! I love how bombastic and elegant your pieces turn out. Unmistakably works of art.
Thanks so much, Chris! I appreciate you taking a look.
I've never really liked the twist until seeing this and that one you showed as an example at the beginning. It really came out amazing :) Great blade and vid, thanks for sharing the build.
The key to twist is how much you grind into it. 👍. Thanks for watching
I really love your knives and how well they turn out but massive props to your explanations of what you are doing and the reasons why throughout the video too
Thanks for following the channel!
Well done. Thank you for showing how you made changes as you went along.
These are just a series of problems to overcome. 😜. Thanhs for watching.
As a Turk i love that pattern looks like marbling art of us.Hilt and hand guards are superb,i love that knife.
Thanks for checking out this build!
Twist came out perfect. Such an amazing pattern turkish twist has. Simple yet soooo very cool. Cant wait to try another twist build of my own. Your my hero 🤩
Thanks so much! It’s still not perfect and I’ll be doing more of these, but I’m happy how this one turned out.
That is super neat, love the guard and spacers
Thanks for watching, Chris!
Another piece of art!
Brilliant work and display of skill, i really love watching your videos!
Thanhs so much! I appreciate you following the channel. ❤️
Amazing work as always good sir! Your knives are becoming show pieces that deserve respect! Thanks for sharing and 2023 is looking good! Can't wait for another knife build with copper those look sooooo good!
I'm taking a break from the copper for a bit. I'm kind of burned out on them and they are getting very trendy now. I've got a few damascus billets to turn into knives for the next few projects. 👍🏻. Thanks for watching!
Thai is the most unbeliebably beautiful knife I have ever seen!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you checking it out!
Beautiful work again.
Your explanations of what you’re doing and why are clear and concise too. Well done.
Thanks for checking out this build!
Gorgeous! Your skills are unreal! Truly on a master level, no doubt!

Boy, you weren’t kidding when you said that it was gonna be a *BIG ASS GUARD.* 😁
I’ve never done one like this, so I wanted to try it. I like it, but I’m not sure I’d do too many. It took forever. 😜. Thanks for watching.
Just wow! That's a knife of my taste. great work.😎👍👏👏👏
That turned out real nice. I like the final pattern, and I think your guard was a great idea.
Thanks, I was pleased with it, but it was a lot of work! Thanks for watching
That looks awesome!

@@iceman2184 Maybe some day!
Man those weld lines I seen when u grinder a little after forging to see how the pattern was coming along were beautiful
Thanks for taking a look, Hassan!
That is an amazing pattern.
Thanks for taking a look, Isaac!
Remarkable piece of Art !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for checking out this build, Jerry!
Beautiful knife
Thanks for watching!
One of my favorite patterns. In my experience, deep hollow grind with double bevels and a ridge in the middle gives the most interesting pattern, for my personal taste. Beautiful knife as always
That would be nice, but I didn’t want a hollow on this one. It needed a full flat grind for the edge geometry. Thanks for watching.
@@TyrellKnifeworks of course. Yours is one of my favorite channels!! Looking forward to the next build!!
well done my friend, I follow you from Turkey with love
Thanks for following along!
Süper olmuş eline sağlık ustam
Bu yapıyı izlediğiniz için teşekkürler!
Beautiful final product. I like when the first inlay didn't work you ended up doing a groove AND then 2 inlays. Its like you gave yourself 3 times the work to get the perfect look and I can only respect that level of craftmanship.
"Good enough" is the enemy of "perfection". Though you never quite attain perfection, you always need to reach for it. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely gorgeous
Thanks for watching, Justin!
Beautiful job!! Saludos desde Argentina
Thanks for watching, Gustavo!
U do magnificent work
It Looks soo amayzing 😀
This is a realy nice blade
Thanks for checking it out!
That turkish twist is really cool. Ill have to give it a try sometime
Thanks for checking it out, JP!
Great job 👏 👌🤘🤘
Thanks for watching!
As a Turk, I have great respect for you.
Thanks for watching!
I love the "in-flight corrections," and the end product shows no signs of them, it's wonderful. Curious about heat treating steel with silver inlay . . . .
Heating is the same with inlay. Silver melting point is 1763F so as long as the inlay is done well, it’s fine. Thanks for watching, Bryson!
As always you do great work. Very well done. It is art.
Thanhs for checking it out, Gino!
@@TyrellKnifeworks I did a little research on the original Bowie knife and I found out that the clip point was sharpened for fighting. I would love one like that.
@@ginojeffries4285 My standard bowie knives are like that. Not this one though. I rarely actually "sharpen" the clip but rather just have it apex quite sharply. I'll be doing a few of these very soon.
@@TyrellKnifeworks I’ll be looking forward to watching these
Very, very nice!
Thanks for checking it out!
Sometime i’m going save up to get one of your blades , cause you make some of the most interesting blades i’ve seen. Especially the ones with copper forged in. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦👍
Thanks so much, Darcy. I appreciate you watching. (I’m actually Canadian as well 😉)
