Dyea: The Klondike Ghost Town

In this video, time traveler Tin Cup Kelly visits the former boomtown and now National Park Service site of Dyea. Originally a Tlingit village, Dyea grew rapidly at the beginning of the Klondike Gold Rush as a waystation between the port town of Skagway and the original route to the gold fields, the Chilkoot Trail.

I was logged on as my daughter when I posted about my visit to Dyea. In fact she wasn't even born when I did the Chiicoot Trail. Everything is different now, even the road to Dyea. Conrad Muller

I visited Dyea before it was a developed park. No trails except logging roads. No signs.
