When I was in the process of adopting I connected with a child. The agency adopted him out and they didn't tell me. I found out last moment and they told me to just pick any kid. I was so deeply devastated and disgusted. I also became depressed. So this couple's reaction makes me incredibly angry. This is a life. Not content.

My niece (she was in the double digits age, not a baby) was messing with our dog, a big dog, ignoring completely that the dog was growling and asking her to back off for a LONG TIME before finally snapping and biting her face. Left four little marks, just a warning nip, not a real bite. She went crying to her mom and I stepped in and told her what she had been doing to the dog and then guess what, the dog didn't get in trouble, because your pets should be allowed to have boundaries too.
I didn't stop it because I was the same age as her, a kid. I saw her messing with the dog for a moment, nothing crazy, and went about my day. When she got bit I put the pieces together. None of us had ever been bit by a single dog we ever owned, it just didn't occur to me.

@jule807 If the kid were a baby/toddler, I'd agree with you. But the commenter mentioned the kid was in the double digits, which is old enough to know better.
When I was a small kid, I pulled our cat's tail, and she scratched me. While cleaning the scratches, my parents explained that was the consequences of me purposely annoying and possibly hurting an animal... it will defend itself. That was a lesson I needed to learn and you know what? It worked. I never again pulled an animals tail. I was like, 3-ish years old. A kid over the age of 10 absolutely ought to know better. If they still don't know at that age not to provoke an animal, then this is a lesson they hopefully won't forget.
Everyone needs to learn at some point that there are consequences to our actions. Sometimes its our own fault, and you can't always pin the blame on someone else.

This is such a disgusting situation. I spent my entire childhood growing up with dogs. We had Cocker Spaniels, Doberman Pinschers, a Rottweiler and eventually a Cane Corso. I knew from the time I was a toddler how to act around the dogs and how to treat them because my family took the time to teach me how to respect animals. I knew never to mess with them when it was time for them to eat but before I understood that, I was kept away from them when they ate. It was explained to me why that was being done so I would understand. I cant stand irresponsible pet owners like this. Its basic common sense and good parenting to teach your children how to act around pets/animals whether you have pets or not. Also, dont get a dog if you're to lazy or unwilling to train it properly. Even though I was taught to stay away from our dogs while they ate when I was a child, I could have touched the food of any one of thise dogs, even the large breed dogs and they wouldn't have reacted. These peope should never be allowed to have a dog ever again. There's just no excuse for what they did.

Also never let a child with a dog unmonitored. That is asking for trouble. Here in this case I ask myself if wouldn’t be better to put these two idiots out of their misery and give the kid some real responsible parents.
My daughter grew up with 4 dogs. Nothing bad ever happened. I always kept an eye on them, I thought her to be kind to them. My family recently adopted a dog from the humane society. He was rehomed after 6 years, after an alleged biting incident over-guess what-a kid messing with his food. The humane society obviously DID take him and shelter him, and adopted him out to my family, where the youngest living in the home is 16 (me). He is *the sweetest.* The only time he's ever growled is playfully, or to let us know he has to go out. Even one of our cats messes with him (which we're trying to resolve) and what does he do? At most, gives him a loud bark to send him running.
If someone wants a dog gone, they will say they're aggressive. They will not give the context of what MADE them aggressive. These kinds of people don't deserve to even be near animals, and I wish shelters put them on some kind of blacklist.

    • @schuylergeery-zink1923

Legit. Also the Humane Society has an anonymous drop off so they don’t even need to say anything at all! We have a beloved Belgian Malinois and a brown tabby who get along decently. Our dog was sad when my cat of 20 years passed away a couple months ago (and we’re processing too… we cried every day for 2 weeks it was just brutal). I don’t get the lack of emotion and lack of accountability other than narcissistic personality disorders or sociopathy which makes sense given the adoption fiasco!

Because apparently when people have kids, they immediately decide the world and everything in it automatically caters to them, and they need not take responsibility. Hence why a dog paid the ultimate price over a situation he never should have been in to begin with, with a child who was also being taught the world starts and stops with their every breath.

I swear, some parents just want to show off their kids to others, to somehow make themselves feel relevant. Most people really aren't all that interested or invested in their friends' kids. They need to find a hobby & stop acting needy, pathetic, or, 'accomplished' through their own kids. "Look at my wonderful kid! Isn't he/she just soooo special?!" Nah. He/she's like all the other kids, shut up.

A stray kitten that showed up at our doorstep was scrappy af I’m sure she learned this to protect herself. But once when I held her she wigged out and bit my nose. Drew blood. I carefully pulled her away and off me. She also bit my dog’s once (they learned boundaries fast) and scratched my sister’s dog when we watched her. But since those first few months adjusting she became more comfortable and we showed her it was safe, and to be gentle, she’s a lover girl and never had another problem since.

They act like it’s so unbelievable that anyone would expect them to allow their child to live a normal childhood without being used for views by their parents. I hope they don’t ever successfully adopt kids. She clearly only wants to use them for profit and to get more views on her RUclips channel. Hopefully every country makes it impossible for people to adopt merely for clout and profit. And they should be in jail for killing their dog for no reason at all. People that think their children can torment their dogs and not make their children respect the dogs personal space and boundaries are disgusting. It’s not hard to teach your kids that they can’t just do whatever they want to an animal. You have to teach kids boundaries and to respect animals. It wasn’t their dogs fault if he actually attacked anyone. It’s their fault. They’re just lazy and didn’t care about the dog in my opinion. And from what I remember about the situation when it first happened is that their kid only got like a scratch or something. It was minor. Not life threatening like they tried to make it seem. I hope karma comes back around on them for what they did to that poor dog. I can’t stand people who abuse, neglect, and mistreat animals.

So ALL my 6 RESCUE OFF THE STREET MYSELF DOGS dont nip or bite me EVER! I always start by feeding them out of my hand then transition to picking up out of the bowl on the bed in front of them to letting them eat in a bowl with my hand in it to petting them while they eat in the bowl to kissing their faces while them eating in the bowl. And EVERY DOG WILL STOP EATING AND LICK MY FACE AND ANY VISITOR'S FACE/HAND INSTEAD OF EATING THE FOOD! And i have a bully pitbull who is like a cow grazing. A Doberman from Germany with the ipo gene (aka auto attack bad guys). 3 chihuahuas and a german pincher which is a very nippy 30lb Doberman. And the only one that fights over food is the german pincher and it's if the other dogs get too close (never bites or growls at me) because she is a hunting dog and nipping is in her genetic code.
Mind you: ive had 3 diff bad guys jump in my bkyrd and try to come in my window and ALL MY DOGS WENT INTO KILL MODE AND BACK OUT WHEN THEY LEFT and including a bad guy with a KNIFE TRY TO STAB ME AT THE DOG PARK AND STEAL MY CAR! As soon as the guy ran my dogs stopped and returned to me because i never gave the "chase" command! And all my dogs CAME THIS WAY! I didnt train them....they all have protection skills and submission skills if you just access them! All my dogs were beaten, starved, run aways/abandoned at the shelter or in the streets!
And now i got ppl at dog parks trying to buy them from me!
They cudda made money selling the dog!

I was adopted. We weren't told about adoption until it was finalized bc the kids got so excited to be told they were getting adopted to have a parent back out. I didn't know I was adoptee until the paperwork on their end was finalized. We also had to have a meeting regarding the adoption. These international adoptions aren't easy at all. If a kid says they aren't comfortable they would withdraw the application immediately. My adoption agency made sure we were compatible. I've watched kids not get adopted bc of what the child said or what the parent said. When I found out that a kid didn't get adopted I saw the disappointment from both sides. It crushes the child but also the parent who used up all their sorces trying to adopt. Most parents who can't adopt are so disappointed bc it's a child they have been waiting for. It breaks my heart NC these folks use adoption as a bonus points for these media folks mess everything up

I haven’t seen anyone admit to child neglect and animal abuse (does killing them without a good enough reason count as abuse?) so casually in a while. Or to wanting to get a kid specifically to make content out of them.
When they are being introduced to kids they could adopt they don’t see a bundle of joy, they see a bundle of cash.

Um… They straight up lied!! I know people including family members who have gone through an adoption process. It’s the same everywhere when they don’t know for sure if your gonna keep the child or not. It happens all the time. So what they will say is “you can pick up your future child” but no they don’t Automatically say it’s that person’s child. It’s a process and that was just the beginning of the process and it looks like they didn’t even get through the first steps!! It woulda only taken months and as soon as the adoption was finalized, she could post whatever she wanted with the child because ONLY THEN would that child be hers!! But no… she’s actually freaking Evil.

Also at @5:15 this couple could of technically posted the baby online without their face being shown kind of like how Michael Jackson did. The baby’s identity would be hidden, if that was what Thailand was worried about, and still show they have an adopted baby from Thailand and tell their audience that for some weird reason they can’t show the child’s identity for a year online. I’m sure if they were really about creating hype and content then that would of been a viable option whilst giving the child a better life than an orphanage.
