@HomoGnosticus I dont mean to sound lazy, but you can probably find out that information on the dewalt website. I am not sure and my sander is in the garage. if you need help or cant find it let me know.

I absolutely love DeWalt tools, but I have read a lot of bad reviews on this belt sander. Problems include bad tracking, overheating with moderate use, shredding belts with light use, and broken moving parts. It looks like DeWalt discontinued this product, perhaps because of poor performance. I hope yours works better; is it still working well for you? How often do you use it and for how long each use?

Mine broke 2 time. I had to repair it myself. Good luck on your travels.

I have had no reason to take mine apart yet otherwise I probably would have also. So I am sorry I can not be able to help you just yet. Good luck though.

Haha why do you say that? Mine just broke and I was able to fix it right before I was about to give up and throw it in the garbage.

Mine finally broke. That was under below average use. I was able to open it up and fix it. The nuts came off of the bearing inside.

Gargage. With very little use I have broken 2 of the shafts. When its not broken it gets hot quickly and it also shreds belts quickly. Never buying one of these again. I wrote dewalt about it and they never responded. I am looking to replace the second shaft now and they are only selling it with the roller at $45... what a joke.

I had to repair mine 2 times already. Took me 25 minutes each time. Good luck on your travels.

You can use woodprix instructions to build it in the cheapest way.
