"If it grows together, it goes together"- thank you❤
Excellent! 🍷
Please let her know how to hold the glass of wine!
Living in Bavaria I love Aschenblau! I like to eat it with the JJ Prüm Sonnenuhr Spätlese. It has sweetness to deal with the salty cheese, it´s fairly lactic so the cheese still presents as creamy and rich and the wine has a fair amount of sulphur so the smokiness from the ash really gets intensified. The laser like acidity leaves the palate fresh and clean after each bite.
Great pairing! Love JJ Prum!!
@@visforvino Ausas Interpretacion with Gouda was stunning yesterday too. With the camembert my favorite wine is Monte Oro from Sardinia. Not sure how easy they are to get in the US but they´re sensational if you can find them
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!!
This was an awesome episode! I learned so much about the various pairings and different juxtaposition of flavors. Do you have any pointers for a beginner who wants to start knowing his way around wine?
Thanks William! This is an oldie but goodie for us! I have a TON! #1 would be watch our full episodes on our channel. And I'm not just saying that; we go through the basics of wine each and every episode; grape characteristics, food pairings, learning the various places that make wine and what they're known for, etc. I also have some videos other than the full episodes the go over how to become a somm, how to wine taste, and more. We also have a wine pairing guide available on our website; just head to visforvino.com and sign up for our mailing list on the bottom right. Third, try and get a local tasting group together (or join one!)
@@visforvino Amazing! I just subscribed to your channel and the mailing list to receive the pairing guide. Thank you so much for your insight!
If it grows together..
Good job buddy
Always a safe bet!!
Awesome episode guys! And thanks for using J. Wilkes! Remember what the french say: "SELL ON CHEESE'! In other words, almost all wine and cheese are good friends at table.
Wes Hagen Thanks Wes! The J Wilkes chard and Brie was our favorite pairing of the day!
Great video
Mountain Ghost1881Thank you!!
Hard to read the wine labels. What are the Sauternes and Gamay?
The Gamay is Chateau Thivin and the Sauternes is Chateau Dauphine Rondillon Loupiac 👍
You know they hooked up after. 😜
You see the way she looked at him it’s the wine talking
Where do people get this "blue cheese smells like feet" bs from? Blue cheese does not smell like feet, while some other types of cheese do. Those are the ones with an orange rind, like Munster or Limburger.
The way the girl is holding the wine glass is just no-no.
