  • Ingredients:
    Flour (Maida) - 3 Cups (160 gmsx3))
    Powdered Sugar - 6 to 8 tbspns
    Vanilla Essence - 3 tspns
    Water / milk - 200ml (1cup water)
    White Vinegar or fresh lemon juice - 6 tspns
    Condensed Milk - 600ml
    Soft Butter - 300 gms
    Baking Soda - 3 tspns tspns
    Baking Powder - 3 tspns
    Cocoa powder - 4 to 5 tablespoons
    Ganache ingredients
    Chopped Chocolate ( I used compound you can use couverture ) 4 cups about 450 gms
    Cream 12 tablespoons ( you can use any cream I used Amul cream )
    Butter afew tablespoons ( optional)
    For layering the tiers
    Any jam
    Or
    Truffle
    Important Tip
    Make sure the batter is stiffer than normal.
    When you are piping the batter into the tin make sure ur hand stays at the same height
    and you are pressing with the same pressure.

    Thank you, thank you and thank you for more hundreds of times.Today, I tried making of this cake and it just came out amazingly well and everybody liked it very much.Madam, as I am fond of baking, I try my hand on baking at leisure.Madam,in the next month there's my Guruji's Birthday and I want to make some different type of cake.So, thought of making a zebra cake.Right from beginning, I have followed you for baking and every time I have got the desired results as shown by you in the video.So, please, it's a humble request for uploading a video of Zebra cake.Once again,thanks for all the baking recipes that you have taught us.🙏👍😊✋✋✋

      Yes this is easy to do just make sure batter is not thin . Wen u pipe the batter should not move

    Hello ma'am
    Do we need to keep both the rods ON for baking cake??
    And as shown today in ur video, can we keep cake in center as well as at lower rack at the same time for baking??

      Only lower rod is on.
      I have put the lower tin on the black tray so the cake doesn’t get burnt .

    Mam why we have to keep the ganache in fridge overnight and beat it ? What is the difference between using the ganache as it is without keeping in fridge and keeping in fridge overnight and using on cake ?

    Mam why didn't you use vinegar and why the quantity of soda was just the same as baking powder,it should be half like one and half tea spoon😊

      Pls watch my video on how to make ganache. Check the playlist. If the ganache becomes hard u can add a few tablespoons of hot cream n re beat

      You can use homemade white butter
      But butter is easily available and so is condensed milk

    I have only one 7 inch tin and I can bake only 1 cake at a time in my microwave convection...Can I layer all the three tins batter in one tin and bake ..or
    One layer bake and put remaining piping bag batter in fridge..so on..

    Ma'am how can i bake in morphy richards oven.?? My cake always get hard frm sides and upper layer too..
    Please hlp ma'am..i dont have single "convection" option..
    Instead i hv convection + micriwave
    And convection + grill

      Ma'am there is no such place like bottom or top...we have to place it in the middle ...that is the big problem i face...i have to place the tin in middle on the glass plate
      I dont hv option unlike your's oven..

    Ma'am! Want to asked one more thing. In this receipe u told 600ml condensed milk is required and put 600g full tin. So that mean in your other receipe where there is 200 ml condensed milk is required so in that case 200g full tin is ok. Generally I used to buy 400g and measure 200ml for receipe.

    Hi mam...... Why the written measurement and the video's measurement is different....... U are telling 3 cups of flour and in written recipe is 33/4 cups..... Same goes with sugar and cocoa pwdr...... Plz help which one to follow..... And what will be the weight of the cake

    Hi mam! I tried this recipe by baking vanilla cake and chocolate cake seperately. My vanilla cakes generally sink in the middle. Any reason for this? I tried baking plain vanilla cakes before as well, they all sunk in the middle :( The chocolate cake baked perfectly flat top, no sinking at all.
    The process, temperature and time was same for both except cocoa powder. I. Baked both in cooker.
    Please suggest tips how to avoid vanilla cake sinking. Thank you 😊
